I know a lot of people are having some serious issues, and was wondering if there is any sort of "official" support from Funcom or Fileplanet, or if they are just letting it ride as is? I for one, am having a couple problems. I can't run the game in full screen, as the screen constantly flashes white. There is also no option for me to turn on blood/gore. The full screen issue is leading to a few other video related problems, so if I can get that going, I'll fix a few things at once. I know it isn't my hardware. I'm running 4 gigs or corsair xms2, two 3870's in crossfire, and an overclocked 5000+ BE. I ran the pvp weekend client with zero issues. I've tried everything I can think of to fix the full screen problem. I've changed every video setting, (and most of the interface settings too), one at a time, and nothing. I've tried every quality and every resolution. Anyway, if anyone could lend a hand, or point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. |

I havn't played the open beta client, only the general. Wish I could help you out, souds frustrating. There are a lot of threads on the AoC forums of course, hopefully either someone there can figure it out, or you OB guys will get patched up to a more recent build that may solve your problem.
wait....what drivers are you using for those 3870's? |

I'm using the current 8.4 catalyst drivers, and yes I'm running vista 64 bit. |

Yeah the full screen flash is getting extremely annoying. I checked over the AoC forums on the main site and can't find anyone with a similar ongoing problem. I found a few people that had the problem when they alt tabbed out, but said when they restarted the client it went away. So, I dunno what the problem is on my end. |
