I would imagine that this gets better later on in the game. But even when I tried the tempest of set. The level 1 club you get from the tutorial does more damage over time than my casting does. The casting time + recharge (60 - 130) vs 30-40 damage a swing. The club is level 1, I imagine a even higher level weapon would put my casting damage more to shame. I tried a couple classes. IF more than one mob gets on the caster, makes it that much worse on damage. With the meleer. I could run in and mow down 4 mobs way faster than the caster can 1-2 shot them because of casting time and recharge not to mention lower hitpoints on top of that. Casters seem way below par in compaired to the meleer types so far. |

Originally posted by nappers DPS tweaking is an ongoing process, WoW has been doing it for years now. And unless we can see the dps on casters throoughout the whole range, we won't know if this is a little "hiccup" on the dps range or whether this prevails all the way to 80. Which, I believe, it doesn't according to my sources. |

This is where 90% of the negative feedback is coming from for this game...laughable. Go back to nap Nappers. Craete a offensive pure caster, test that and you should find different results, not a priest archetype. |

Play a demo and watch the mobs drop from way far away. Its nice change of pace from the in yer face barb. |
