I liked the old TEF system that allowed you to go overt or undercover (until you blew your cover). Do you all think it worked or not? |

“Game Experience May Change During Online Play” is about ESRB ratings, not changing game content! |

Yep, I think it worked just fine. I like concepts of consequences for your actions, and getting a TEF was certainly one of them. |

As a baby Jedi in the old days, I accidentally activated my saber in the Cnet buff line... talk about TEF, I had the whole damn town shooting at me, reb and imp. I had to run around the side of the starport,, jump on a bike, and then go log out in the ocean. I barely lived. Not the dignified image of the Jedi from the movies.... |

Perhaps not, but you did exactly what I'd expect any Jedi to do during the period of ANH - run and hide. : ) For that time period this was very Star Warsy and iconic! |

Star Wars Galaxies, R.I.P. NGE was your final death blow. |
oh what a great time! Being TEF'd was great because you HAD to be extra aware of your surroundings. Going into the rebel base to scoop some faction points meant you had to be REALLY careful when you came out....you might find a whole group of rebels waiting to pick you off! I'd always run out and try and get aboard my swoop as fast as i could and try to just keep moving..... On more than one occasion my swoop got blasted and I found myself....shall we say...in a pickle!!! hahahaha |

Originally posted by Beatnik59 Oh ya, I loved it. That's one of the things that initially interested me about the game. I read an article about it in StarWars Insider and thought, "wow that sounds like a lot of fun," and it was.
It made the game more immersive. I was a rebel. I talked to the recruiter hanging out in the basement of the seedy cantina in Anchorhead. It was a lot of fun to go around being a rebel, but not have the imperial players know about it, until I opened up on a group of stormtroopers lol, then the fight was on. Brilliant idea, many thanks to whoever implemented it for hours of enjoyment. |

Having your vehicle destroyed by the other side sucked. I always made a point of telling it to store before I fired a shot. |
