yea i'm a programmer so i feel your pain being at a desk...the stretches and moving around ever 30 to 40 mins has definiitly help cut down on the reaccurances...if I could just get back to a regular exercise routine instead of the random once or twice a week deal I'd probably not have the issues at all lol anyway back on topic..wii for the win of a time burner until WAR lol |

Still unsure whether to go with this or AoC, but I'm going to try both. Not really desperate for anything at the moment, Guild Wars is a good time waster... what's great about GWs is that it is sort of an "in-betweener" when I'm waiting for something else, and since there's no monthly fee it just fits wonderfully. To be honest I don't think AoC or WAR will be any good, so by then I'll probably just stick with Xbox Live, TF2, Call of Duty, Guild Wars, and the works. |

Well honestly i was kinda 60% towards war and 40% towards AoC. It was going to be all depending on reviews after it launched. But a few things swayed my decisions fully towards WAR, and now ill play it when it launches. Heres the reasons: 1. The wonderful move AoC developers did by doing a "pay for a chance at beta" via fileplanet FOLLOWED by them making excuses on these very boards rose red flags everywhere with me, especially since alot of people point out the nice fact that it was just like what the did with anachy online. So yeah, I won't be playing that now. If anything i might be trying it out after i read A LOT of reviews, but.. i doubt it... 2. Probably the biggest contributor to me fully going WAR is becuase the confidence that the devs have in every vid i have watched about the game. Their confidence is real, and you can tell. 3. WAR devs are listening to beta testers like their life depended on it. And that is something you have to respect. It is a smart move on their part, where many devs from other companies would not listen to any suggestions. just my two cents. |

Here here! Like what the WAR devs recently stated in an interview!
"Another important thing to remember," Josh said, "is that part of making a game is responding to your customer base and the only way that you can understand what your customers think about what you are doing is to go out and talk to them, shake their hands, show them what you're doing and that you're not just operating in a cave working on something that you don't intend to show them until after you've got their money.
I love the devs at WAR so much for keeping their fans in the loop on everything, and responding to all our concerns promtly and just letting us know they care about what we think. WAR is going to be extremely good.
Ah and I'm playing LOTRO casually since I've completed everything PvE and there isn't anything much else to do but play an alt atm. ....and I'm about to start reading the Malus Darkblade series for Warhammer and possibly others to get deep into the lore before playing! |

This only really starting happening since november in my opinion and that's *after* they pretty much realized they had a lemon on their hand if they wouldve released back then.
Listening out of necessity is not quite as noble as you make it sound imo :) |
