Hey, I logged into my old SWG station account the other day after seeing some posts here about a 'vet trial'. Today I recieved an e-mail from Station awarding me 33days of free game time. Patching up the game now and going to see how things are. Just a heads up to those who might want some free vet time to go log into their station accounts & they might send you it.

Their subscription numbers are the lowest they've ever been and they are trying everything to grab some subs.  So now is a good time to get some free playing time, problem is that the game is so boring people won't want to resub...

So far the NJE isn't too terrible, but the stance/focus thing ticks me off something fierce, it basically allows you to either deal damage or absorb damage.  No happy medium.  Now I suppose this is to encourage group play, but it's difficult to group on pretty much deserted servers.

I'll give it another go.  Whenever I get a free vet trial, I'm happy to log in and reassess.  This next week will be tough though as wife and I are on vacation.  Also GTA4 just came out and wife and I are having a blast playing that.

We'll see though.  It will be interesting to see what's goin' on in game these days and maybe visit some old haunts.  I'll resub if I like it.  I've been bored with mmo's in general lately though.

Yeah, after playing around on my old jedi for a while, it's now clear to me that this game has changed so much that i'd have to make a completely new character and start from the beginning again to know whats going on. Also, the game seems so empty now. Basically, its not worth my time to play this when there are so many better titles out there now. I'll just wait for the next new star wars mmo to be made. The NGE star wars is FUBAR.
