SWG-TSlothrop - We saw that the existing SWG game did not deliver on the promise of Fast, Heroic, Start Wars action. This was the best way to get back to what makes Star Wars great.

i guess it is great enough now to have the right  proportions for to...in  SWG-TSlothrop's...

I've always been curious about these mythical focus groups.  It's amazing what you can get for a couple bottles of Boones Farms.

"I am altering the deal, pray I don''t alter it any further." (summary of SWG)

Another gem from one of the two stratics chat sessions advertising trials of obiwan and upcoming profession revamps:

"Neif - Phaelyn, Squad Leader and Ranger are two key professions that we're singled out as needing change to become more compelling and useful professions. That said, we are looking at doing more profession revamps after these two. Expect some great changes to other professions in the future.  Sept/05"

Sick of the crap on the radio? Try ETN.fm or party107.com

You only get a reasonable amount of time to sue SOE, generally about a year after the offense has happened.  Since its 2008, all you can do is just hate yourself.

The Statute of Limitations for fraud in California is three years.  That means there are still a few months left.

Lol self-hatred doesn't seem like a reasonable way to address the apparent injustice I've highlighted.  After all, I wasn't the one misleading customers.  And yes, as someone has pointed out, the statute of limitations hasn't run out yet.  I'm aware of the timelines.  Also, if SOE or LEC knowlingly misled consumers, that's a criminal matter, so we're not talking about anyone being sued.

Tbh, I don't think hatred of anyone is a very productive path.  If SOE and LEC knowlingly misled people, I think they should simply admit it, officially apologize, and refund any subscription money paid under false pretenses.  If they don't see fit to do this, it's very likely that someone will dialogue with the authorities to get their take on the dev chats.  I suppose in the end, this will be the opinion that matters most.

I'd prefer a different outcome.

If someone were to launch a class action suit, they wouldn't need to file it in California.  Some states have a longer Statute of Limitations on fraud (as an example, in Florida it is 4 years).
