I thought I had seen the most retarded MMO site ever. I guess I was wrong. That one takes it, by far.

So this dude's premise is.... raiding + hardcore pvp = kiss of death?

They just want to stand around and chat all day, and still have "The Uberest Gear on the Server"?

Whoever wrote that piece needs to get out of MMOs. Now. And stay out.

Its ok to be mad that AoC is WoW2, dont live in denial. Not all mmo's are like WoW. Look at Mortal Online, Earthrise and Fallen Earth for real PvP. Hehe

I'm a PvEr, as will more than likely be the majority of the rest of AoCs' population, just as every other games' population. So, not getting high-level gear for PvP, whether through PvE or PvP means, isn't gonna affect me  or the other PvErs at all. Never once raided in WoW or any other game, the gear I obtained through normal means was more than adequate for PvE, as it will be in AoC. And that's assuming mmosite even has all the facts right.

So, kinda hard for me to feel any sympathy. Sorry.

The PvPers and the raiders will find their way to succeed at their part of the game, and the ones who are gonna cry because they have to work before stroking their e-peens will, well, cry. As they already are, apparently.

So he want's all the great hear but doesn't want to work for it? maybe FC should just give us all max lvl chars with the best gear possible and eliminate having to do anything but stand around all day.

Complaints like that just doesnt make any sense to me. You want good gear? then work for it. It's not like your going to get a malibou mansion with 10 Feraris and porches by just sitting there.

AoC is not a PvP mmo! So anyone playing AoC for PvP is a massive PvP nnob, they have no clue what real PvP is.

Yes, that's why they are having FFA PvP only servers, right? As well as PvP on the PvE servers, just not FFA.

A REAL PvPer takes the PvP wherever he can find it, and does his best to excel at it. Guess you're not a real PvPer?

I think I may like that site. Thanks, it may be an honest review site kind of like G4-X play on TV. 

We need more sites like that, you know someone on our side to protect us from Marketing tricks like Funcom gives us. 

I can't stand corruption. Call me a Warrior but I fight it when I find it, and Funcom is just that !! Aoc is not even released yet and they are full of games,  however thats the best time to get sales up ( marketing 101 ) .

So the end game raiding makes the whole game suck? And only "IF" you want the best gear. My bet is just regular hunting n such will prolly get you some pretty good gear. Really sounds like just about any other games 'endgame' content. What do you expect...once you hit lvl 80 that you are just given everything by default? Then complain that once you hit lvl 80 there is nothing left to do?

to the OP, I can only assume that you have some need to have the best gear on the server based on the QQing you're doing. Please understand that this game isn't built for you personally, it's built to appeal to millions of customers - some of whom enjoy raiding. Personally I don't ,so I won't raid and therefor i won't get the phat lootz that are in these instances. And i couldn't care less. I'm going to take from the game those parts that are appealing to me - exploring, questing, and Mini-game PVPing.

Hell in the 2 years i've played WOW i've never raided, I don't even have BC - i found what i enjoyed doing and just did that. Now i have a bunch of twinked chars and i get on and BG. (My account runs out on May 17th - talk about timing! booyeah). So while I'm really interested in the fact that you're NOT going to play and the reasons why....errrr no I  really don't care why you're not going to play. Go hit the Darkfall boards and wait for your perfect game, or better yet why don't you develop you're own game that meets your particular needs.

mmosite.com is a great place to get the real info on mmo's. Here at mmorpg.com, the mods control what you say. In mmosite.com the mods do alot of the posting of news.. they have nothing to hide when it comes to telling the truth to the community.
