Is the OPEN beta build coming up the release version with a level restriction or will I need to redownload the game when early release comes out, May 17th?

hmm at a guess I would say maybe re download new client near release

i think the headstart is a new client thus re-download.. and once you get your box you should install it from the dvd(s)

I'm not sure but all I do know is they have to start the OB soon as I'll be playing on the 19th and it's nearly May now. So the OB is only gonna be about 2 weeks max anyhow, not much time to level up unless you're power leveling "Age of Crack: Hallucinagenic Adventures".

Agri, why would you want to power level on OB? its been capped to lvl 13 ^^

I wonder how many that paid to get in that beta know that all they will be testing is a intro/tutorial. Funny how they fail to mention that on the fileplanet minisite. Almost nothing that people want to see will be in that beta.

13 levels can show a lot. It shows tortage, it shows quests, it shows taverns and NPCs, it shows different classes, it shows different outfits on said classes, it shows socialization to see where players hang out. That's quite enough for testing.

If a person is paying JUST to get into the AoC beta, then that person knows enough about the game and what to expect in the OB as it pertains to the level cap.  Also,  nothing will be in the OB that people want to see?  Will I log in and find a cube on a blank plain and just sit and rotate it?  Beyond your minds comprehension, there are people out there that want to see the character modfels, and the world look, the melee combat system, how quests work in AoC, the loot system at its basics, and a host of other things the OB will show and provide.  Take your  'I'm upset that the used fileplanet and want me to pay, therefore hate this game now!'  attitude and go to the forum of the game that really suits your tastes.  hmmm.  Is there a forum for that perfect game?  nope, guess you lose :)

So lets see first Funcom gets a kickback from fileplaent for each download ( my sources say $5 - $10) depending on your status at fileplanet) and then they get you for another $5 to play from the 17th on. I really hate money grabbing suck the bucks from its clients wallets copmpanies.

You sound kinda angry. I guess you just found out you paid 8 bucks to test about an hours worth of a game. I don't hate the game. I already tested it and pre-ordered it so I think you assumed a bit too much from my sarcastic response. Don't get mad at me cause you got scammed by fileplanet.
