Ok i have finally have to say this but who cares about which mmo is better war or aoc, honestly people will play what they want and they will love it. UNLESS IT SUCKS that goes for both war and aoc, who knows they might both suck and everyone will go back to wow. i just wish u guys would stop fighting in the forums over. Im guilty for fight for war and bashing aoc but in reality, who cares just the hardcore crazy nerd peeps, so if your going to post in this forum make it nice, if u wanna compare games fine, BUT no bashing, i wont have it i want the games compared on fair even ground thats all. Please people only good post not bashing or troll post or i will get them deleted i want this to be info post not which game is better and why i know sounds odd but for you beta peeps list whats great about your game and whats bad or want u wanna see worked on in your game please and after one week i will take everything in the post and make into a one massive compare agaisnt the 2 games. then i will throw a poll up and settle it once and for all. ok peeps post away and keep it fair and about your game only if possable.

Me, I care. I altough I admit its pretty pointless as everyone has their own opinion. its just discussion. Don't act like its real conflict. fans have not alot to do whilst waiting for a game to come out, so they dicuss things.

So long as everyone is happy playing a game they enjoy and love... then who cares indeed. 

Imo, the General Discussion section is where the gloves can come off and have those types of discussions. Of course players will play whatever they enjoy, but games do have differing merits. Considering that both AoC and WAR may (big emphasis on may) offer new, or at least refined, mechanics I look forward to the debates.

I tend to ignore the out-and-out bashing. Having said that , I let people off the hook per se if they have a valid argument.

Sometimes its also self affirming behavior. I just dropped $70 on a game...dammit It better be the best game, cause I dont have money enough to switch.

I'll be giving AoC a good try, but if it ends up being like WoW at the end level...raid 24/7 and meaningless, useless PvP then I'll be very quickly going to WAR.

WoW PvP sucked, it was just lame battlegrounds that had no affect on the world at all, and I really really hate PvE raiding.

Not sure what AoC PvP is like (I don't care about PvE raiding) but if it sucks, then WAR will be getting my money.

So you are saying we shouldn't care wich game is best. So why don't I go start playing an asian grinder then if we shouldn't care wich game is best!

As long as the competition between the developers leads to making better games, the gamers win. It seems that the launch of WAR and AoC will have a positive effect on WoW (expansion adding some of the features mentioned in the previous games) and EVE (sounds irrelevant but I'm sure ambulation will be introduced before WAR launches).
