So I just got Comrad and added the TeamFilePlanet Ambassator, so what now....Do I just wait? its 4:14 est here and Its been up for about 10 minutes now.....I read in a few posts that you can get the key faster if you refresh....but im not sure what to refresh...comrad? HELP! |

one more batch remains for todays keys - yesterdays final batch went out at 11 pm EST if that helps (or may be useless info
what I posted in the other thread if the batch says coming soon --- doing refresh with F5 of this site is the most timely and annoying method www.fileplanet.com/promotions/ageofconan/beta/temp_closed.aspx
I was not actively refreshing when I got my key but I did have the Beta page ready and was at my computer when Comrade notified me |

I got my key today from the second batch. First batch of keys was gone before I dragged my sorry ass from bed. I needed to stay home today so that I could run a new coax into my house so that I can plug my Xbox into the internet modem. So I installed comrad and web-site watcher onto my system. I set comrad up to notify me by playing a wave file whenever fileplanet messages are recieved. I set web-site watcher to scan the beta key page every 10 seconds. I then set web-site watcher to open the page on any changes. I also set a wave file to be played to notify me. I then turned up my speakers close to max and went to work on routing the coax. As soon as I heard the wave file, I rushed in and got the key. I swear they were gone in less than 30 seconds on the second batch. Web-site watcher was was faster on sending me a notify that new keys were available. I was half way through on getting the key when comrad sent the notify. I way I see it right now, people who are gone during the day working are going to have one heck of a time getting the key unless they come out late at night. |
