I will never pay for beta a game, not even 1$. Upen beta are free and upen, the game will get its payment from the stree test.

The whole thing with this "beta" is marketing, profit and agreements between the sites who are giving out the keys.

Lame, but yeah. Both sides are getting attention and money this way.

just because they call it an "UPEN"(open) beta does not mean it has to be free, funcom does not even have to provide an open beta at all, and besides you are not paying to get into beta, you paying fileplanet for their premium service to get a chance to get in the open beta,  that is part of the perks of having a fileplanet subscription as they tend to get quite a few exclusive rights to betas whether people like it or not, that is how is these days

so i'm guessing if you are a warhammer fan, since you have to preorder right now to get in open beta, you wont preorder then since you have to pay to play an open beta huh?

I actually can't believe they're making people play to close beta  a game  - ONLY TO LEVEL 13, and only for 1 month.

Absolutely ludicrous and has effected their sub numbers.

Oh well,i guess the "beta test" has lost its sence nowdays and its more like "Pay for a month less than 15usd(which is the normal subscription),to play for a month"!

how has it effected their sub numbers, when there are no sub's yet?  that statement is what is ludicrous.

Beta testers have reached level 80 months ago. You can argue that the leveling is boring, the quests are boring, the world is boring (actually you can't since you haven't played it). You can't argue however, that there is no content up to level 80.

Where did i state what i did?

This is pretty funny this is like 5th or 6th thread ive seen started by people griping about something they don't have to do, Just wait for the freaking free trial if you dont wanna pay.

Earlier posts talk about how your paying to do work for funcom by open beta testing. LOL thats funny to me the majority of people who get into open betas are only there to try and get an edge on everyone else before the game actually opens. So when it does open they speed through and stand around and glorify in their greatness. Be real people usually only the closed beta peeps actually do any real bug testing and im pretty sure they didnt have to pay.

In one post you state that the game has only 13 levels of content, thus why the open beta has the same.

In a follow up post you state that you should be believed because you're in the closed beta.

Those two don't add up, simply because the closed beta had no level restriction. It had however a "reach max level as fast as possible for a lifetime subscription contents" among other things. And it had plenty of people reaching max level and PvPing and raiding on said level. The closed beta was missing several things, content to level did not however.

So, putting 1 and 1 together, I call your random posting lies and you sir a troll. Care to answer to this?
