WAR (Warhammer Online)

I, unfortunately, have not been accepted into the beta, (yet? ) so I'm curious as to whether or not there are any /emotes in the game. Classic stuff like /dance, /joke, /flirt, etc. would be hilarious with the Warhammer IP, so I hope they've made it in. Can anyone shed any light on this topic? I know the Witch Hunter's have a Mime thing (unless that was just some drunk animators having fun in Paul's Blooper Reel), but is that all they've got?

it has been stated since the early beginnig, that there wont be a /dance macro or any way to dance. So I doubt that there will be many emotes (if any) since they will try to keep it a bit sinister ....

from what i understood early on is that they wont have many emotes due to issues with other games.  While many of the emotes are funny and entertaining to me it takes too much away from the game. Sometimes the emotes are unwanted like in WOW when your playing a female and some dude walks up and flirts with you. You tell them your a guy and they send you hate whispers. (this is why i dont play females characters anymore). This is just an example.  Im not a fan of emotes anyway.

They can still harrass you even without the emotes so your example is completely silly.

There are emotes they've just denied us the horrors of Dance Emotes....im curious what Krazy plant your smoking most games don't have 'problems with emotes" emotes are a simple animation.

I have to agree with Elvenangel here. Blaming that on emotes is beyond ludicrous since they could just type out the same thing without your character emoting it anyway. Not putting them in doesn't remove anything. I highly doubt that's a valid argument.

guys flirting with other players, just because its female char? omg, how pathetic x)  serious ? i bet its for the wow kids who never have had a GF :P  and even make HATE whispers, thats just ... omg ... im out of words!
