You know to little for even getting started in a discussion like this. All you manage with this discussion is making a fool out of yourself. 

I HAVE knowledge about server hardware. I HAVE knowledge of high end production clusters. While I am not in the AI field that does not mean I can't read papers FROM INDUSTRY LEADERS about the subject and the affects it has on hardware limitations. Furthermore I have the technical knowledge to understand these papers. When I post links to them or comment on other links that have been posted, YOU and others disregard them. Please provide me with anything but guesswork in relation with DF. Aventurine has provided NOTHING but generic descriptions of what they are working on. Until it is shown to the public NEITHER of us knows the truth so don't act like I am the only one guessing here. You know just as little as I do. The difference is that I have been following the game long enough to know that what little information they release HISTORICALLY has been misleading or untrue.

The question is if this game tanks will you have the pair to come on these forums and man up. I know I will since I WANT THIS GAME TO BE TRUE. My guess is you will fade away or flip sides pretending you were never a fanboy. I really hope this game comes out soon so the truth will be known. If the game is as I suspect there will be quite a few tap dancing fanboys on this board including you.

I have been a systems admin for quite some time now and have worked for 3 major web hosting companies and 2 tier 1 providers. I know hardware and a number of OS. You are taking what I have said out of context as well. I have been talking about the ability to run such complex AI on s scale that will test the game. Tasos said the game will be tested before we the players get to play it. In order to fully test a game on that level would take hundreds if not thousands of players or in this case Bots. It is highly doubtful (notice I did not say impossible) that Aventurine has that infrastructure in place.

Your original post on this thread was partially directed at me. Since 80% of the posts are about what I posted or responses to my posts, I find it hard to believe you are commenting on this thread with direct responses to items in those posts, yet have not read them.

So you fail to answer any of the questions I put to you, but still have this superiority attitude. what do YOU know on the subject? If neither one of us is an AI pioneer in the gaming industry you have no more right to refute my points then I have for making them. Your posts are nothing more then personal attacks with no substance. If you want to refute my points then PUT UP SOME FACTS to refute them.

There you go. Im glad you confess you havent the fainthest idea what youre talking about. So then my question to you is - why do you discuss something you have unadequate knowledge off? I mean if you had some knowledge in the matter then i can see a reason for entering a discussion like this but you have no knowledge and there is where you lost me, cant understand why you bother to have assumptions about a matter that is way over your head.

LOL. Youre reading papers you say. Well good for you. And you have some knowledge about server hardware and high end production clusters, WOW!! Really impressing. Im sorry but even though you claim to have some knowledge in the matter im 100% sure you dont have what it takes understanding advanced AI and what is possible today in the matter. And youre right for the first time - none of us know the truth about Darkfall. But im not calling them liars before i seen the game, thats the difference btw you and me. And i followed the game since 2001 so i know DF history inside and out. And please give me an example where Darkfall Devs have been misleading about technical issues as the AI? Just one example will do.=)

Im not living my life through whether Darkfall is a winner or not. I dont make stupid claims like you do that Aventurine and Darkfall Developers are liers either. Fact is that discussions like this is 100% BS since neither you nor me know the truth. So just chill abit and lets see what future Darkfall will have when released. Lets hope for the best shall we.=)
