Hello.

I may get some suggestions.  I want to know a few things. Feel free to give any advice.

Is a good idea to explore other planets, or stay in tantoine?

There are on this games something like dungeons, or other stuff?

What is everyone doing? I would love to team a bit, to learn how other people play his char. Any suggestion to get teams?

The other planets are set up based on levels, so as a n00bie it's best to stick to Tatooine.  The Legacy Quest series will take you eventually to other planets, and you'll be level appropriate when it does.

Lots of dungeons, but they're not structured the way they are in WoW, with dungeons as sort of theme parks.

As for playing with others, well, all the level 90s are off doing their things.  Since SWG is unlike WoW in that it's got a small and shrinking playerbase, there won't be too many other players to level up with.  Best bet is to get on one of the more populated servers, like Bria, Bloodfin, Chimaera, or Ahazi.  Even then the pickings are slim with new players.

CH, Jedi, Commando, Smuggler, BH, Scout, Doctor, Chef, BE...yeah, lots of SWG time invested.

Once a denizen of Ahazi

I just played again so I'll give you my advice, for what it's worth...

I can't POSSIBLY imagine having to level up a toon in this game starting from scratch.  I just can't fathom how boring that must be.

I went to Rori and it was level 75 and up, so it seems.

Playing again only reinforced how putrid the game is now.  SWG wasn't designed to have places in the worlds that you can't access because your level isn't high enough...

They expect you to kill thousands of rodents and spend countless hours grinding your way up so you can simply get to new places which will be more of the same, just at a higher level.  The game is worse than I remember it being.

My advice to you is to enjoy playing low level on Tatooine.  If you really just want to play the game level slowly or do it AFK like everbody else.  You can actually level away from the computre in SWG now so there really is no need to do the entire grind.  My real advice is to play WoW or wait for Age of Conan.  WoW is a much better game than SWG and AoC should be better than SWG as well.

Tecmo Bowl.

Well if you are low level and new to the game, there are a few things I would suggest.

1) If you want to see the other planets (which were actually designed way back and still look pretty good) go to the cantina in Mos Eisley and talk to the Pilot NPC in the back room. He will give you a ship and give you your first mission. In the datapad you can delete the mission and keep the starter ship. Having the ship will allow you to travel via ship terminals to all planets except Musty. There are also faction pilot recruiters, but I do not remember where they are.

2) Like some others said, as far as leveling I would do the legacy quests (well I wouldn't but it is probably the best way to learn some of the game)...

3) Go start on the collections at Mos Eisley /way 3264, -4818. Me personally I think collections are just a big time sink, but some people really do enjoy them.

4) Once you reach level 22, if you are not a jedi you should grab some armor. Ask people to help you get the clone armor, it is a quick quest that can be completed in thirty minutes... I personally really like this little quest, it is a pretty neat little story and harkens back to a time when I actually used to read the snippets, unlike I do now with the heroics... the quest starts on Dearic Talus--- just talk to the alcoholic in the bar named Mort.

5) LOL If I have not bored you too much and you are still reading, this is the most important piece of advice, in my humble opinion. If you did not create a toon in one of the larger servers (BRIA and BLOODFIN are the only two i can vouch for) create a new toon on one of those servers. This game is well past its heyday and the population levels are extremely low on many servers. On the bright side, as a new player, most encounters you have will only require 1 or 2 other players so I guess the impact would not be as bad...

6) One last thing, take your time and enjoy the scenery. SWG does not have much of an endgame IMHO. however, I really enjoy traveling to some of the amazing POI's (check your datapad) that are present on all the planets. Likewise, I really enjoy a lot of the older quests that still work.

7) Many here will tell you this game is crap and you should not play. Since I do play, I obviously would not go that far. However, this game is not really designed to be friendly to new players in any way shape or form.

If you go to Bria, send me a tell ingame and I will try to help out. I go by Hawley and Uteeni.

Sure, it's a good idea to explore as it can be fun - but be careful, not all planets are as friendly at tatooine.

There are things that could be called dungeons, most need a high level to participate in.

I am currently enjoying PVP, I have some low level alts that i like to play, I craft with my crafter - It's always nice to have a guild for teams, but if you don't In chapter 10 theres a find team update coming up, to help you find a team.

Enjoy :)
