I haven't been in the loop as much as i had hoped in regards of SGW news and info. I just love the Atlantis-series and was wondering if the devs ever mentioned that visiting the Atlantis base would ever become a reality in the MMO?

53, female, a gamer and proud of it.

The game is set between seasons 8 and 9 I believe.  I think they said that Atlantis will come later but my mind is fuzzy on that point.  I will try to look around and see what I find and then come back. But my weekends are busy.

Actually I read that the timeline was changed to season 3-7 once the series was abruptly ended. It was originally intended to tie into SG1's story arc's and have some side story play out, sort of like the original idea for MxO. Once it was done, they decided to go back to a timeline more fitting to the heart of the series, so now it will be around the time of the Tau'ri /Goa'uld war.

I'm not sure where you got your information, but there will be a monthly fee for Stargate Worlds.

Also, the devs have said many times that the first expansion pack will be Atlantis.
