That this is gonna be like Vanguard Saga of Heroes. Just lvl 13 are you bullshiting me? At wow you wouldnt even have a lousy talent point lol.
I told this to my guild on vent and they all lolled. If you re expecting me to come play this pos u better step up your game funcom. Tips: Make it at least lvl 50. Like this all it seems is they re trying to take our hard earned coin to buy a bunch of bmw for the devs. Games like this if it happends like this are the reason celebrities dont play mmorpgs anymore. |

Well considering this game will be mostly skill based and not item or level based it might be a cool thing if they can pull it off. I'm tired of being that one guy that gets killed first because I refuse to spend 8-9 hours a day trying to get the best gear in the game and highest level. But if you get those same people who have the best gear and highest level and give them a low level character like mine I'd kick their butts or come close to doing so. |

Yes they are prolly covering stuff up, like story and a world where we can walk into and not know what to expect. And maybe they just dont want people to play most of their game for free before it even launches, cuz they know that a lot of people dont actualy go into beta to test it. |

Anyway. Conan might fail, I'm still on the fence about that. (Even tho I keep my CE pre-ordered) But giving an open beta of 13 levels won't have anything to do with it. I'm actually quite happy about it. So far everybody I saw complaining about it are people I rather not have in the same game as me :)

I generally think that game companies are hiding something horrible as long as it's not proven otherwise, but even I think that OP's post is mostly trolling. Giving even 13 levels of beta is much better view of the game than nothing, and we should be thankful of it.
But I still think that before Funcom releases those who have been in the beta and tested all content from their NDA, and they can tell their impression of if it's a good game or not, none who hasn't been in the beta and tested and seen all content should buy or preorder the game. |

I was sort of put off by the lvl 13 cap myself. I can understand the point of capping it at first to sort of stress test the starting areas. I certainly hope they are not going to keep that cap in place for the whole 2 weeks or so. I'm sure the people in the closed beta are testing more than 1-13 content (I sure hope so anyway) but since the NDA is still in place we have no idea what they are doing. I don't think it's fair to say the sky is falling just from lack of information. If the rest of the game is as good or better than the pvp weekend I think they would want to let people in on the secret. |

Why should anyone be allowed to play for *free* past level 13? For that matter, why should anyone be allowed to play for *free* anyway? If you want to play the game, pay for it. Otherwise, take your cheap ass on down the road. That's how I feel about it anyway.

It's a 2 1/2 week 'stress test.' A level cap of 13 isn't going to bring down hellfire and brimstone and mark this game as an 'epic fa1l' on release.

Im only defending WoW in that aspect because that game is so gosh dambrepeditive that the game was ruined. Only because they are adding another 10 lvl's ( LOL?), and promising to have a better PvP system again double LOL LOL? and and and etc....You can argue all you want about how much change and content their is but at the end of the day all of that doesn't make it a "Good game". Down right the game is the samething since lvl 60, nothing has changed, they even ruined it by adding arenas, and banning people that go out and gank. So they made everything they think is right, "Mandatory". AoC on the other hand went out of the "MMO" standard box. They have done something way out of the box. This is the next gen game like it or not. Also im starting to find out why ppl dont like it...its because they dont have the brain capacity to do everything in the combat system. Its to hard for them to press more than one button to do a spell or to do dmg overall, they are too lazy. Im happy those ppl wont play the game, makes the community of the servers that much better, and the game that much better.
