Hey, Andrew from Triad Inc. here to bring you a new concept created by you the Gamers and well me of course lol.

The setting is the Middle Ages and tyranny rans over three.... sorry cant tell you anymore due to how many game designers there are on this site and how many would love to have this concept however if you respond to this forum i will gladly tell you as long as you know this game concept is copyrighted so any illegal none condoned use of it will be immediately sent to the authorities.

The Setting is the Middle Ages and tyranny rans over three seperate kingdoms these countries are ruled by three very different very selfish greedy kings each of a seperate race however ruling over the same races in this world you serve your king (who ever that you choose) you travel through the world discovering secrets and evils hidden for ages in Rock, Fire, Wind, and Water you battle darkness and bring forth the light however one can not stand against many so together your kingdom must fight not only your enemies within the far off kingdoms but also within your own lands.

sounds too much like what we already have a ton of.  I don't want another WoW clone #45. The settings are indifferent, the player models are indifferent. The style of gameplay is all that matters. Make the game play different from WoW's. And nobody on this forum is going to take your idea because we all know it is vaporware until we see something. But the best of luck to ya.

Well, you don't really have to worry about other developers, most people on this forum are not developers, just people who like to discuss ideas, for fun.

But I have some questions,

Middle ages is a broad term, do you mean in a setting with European, Middle Eastern, Asian, African, or multiple  cultures?

What are the races?

What kind of secrets and evils hidden for ages in Rock, Fire, Wind, and Water?

Can I bring darkness to the world too?  And does darkness imply evil, or an elemental alignment?

If the kingdoms are so tyrannical I wouldn't want to fight for them, could players not have a kingdom?

i will tell you the games secrets and what seperates it from everything else.this game not only lets you fight for your king dom but for yourself, sure in order to advance in your citizen ship you must help your kingdom but as yiu know who among us doesnt want to be notorious so the game brings a new feature to the table kind of like Fable for every quest there is an opposite quest .

However the main part of the game is the hidden evils both in the world and in you the world is known as Meridia and forged years ago by the gods and elements (elements are personified in this game to the point u can actually fight one of them) has benn tore apart by war and plague but what would the gods be if they did not leave protectors on Meridia hidden within the elements are 3 very real very strong beast of great power that have rested since the last War between the Gods and The Dragon.

As i just mentioned yes there is a Dragon however not what your thinking this dragon was created by the fire element to protect the worlds flame so that it would never grow cold in his absence. right now i apologize but i cannot go into depth but u get the picture. 

Races you ask well they are kind of like all others except we are introducing some new ones: Geminites fierce warriors and magical beings that are carved of stone and covered in a splendor of gems, Lenbon creatures that are troll like that are troll like in shape but stand 4ft tall and use their magic capabilities to win fights, there will also be gamer classics such as Orcs, Humans, gnome, elves, but theres two others seldom used a race only playable in the north are the Lycan however they are not what your thinging ill fill you in if you ask, and the Neako a race of feline humanoids.

No one could steal your idea unless they had a few million to make it. Your idea as you stated is concept. Theres an article on gamedev.net about designers sharing concepts not threatning you steal my amazing idea and i'll contact the authorities.

If the idea has copyright you might as-well post it, instead of threatning legal action. It's silly.

SOE have a MMO blog full of ideas they throw arround in the studio design meetings. Concepts are just concepts.

sorry for the flame but this is one of the things that kinda annoys me.  The worst that could possibly happen is that someone relooks at some of their mechanics, something that has happened to me once.  but it was an obvious evolution for the mechanics anyways.
