WAR (Warhammer Online)

    Anyone else getting the feeling of deja vu while playing or watching videos of gameplay? Like i have this crazy feeling that i have already done all these things before. If you havnt guessed it by now im talking about world of warcraft.

    This game looks almost exactly like world of warcraft. Yes their are a few differences. The graphics are a tad better. It is more about pvp in warhammer than it is in warcraft. Funny how that is since they both have war in the titles. Well these are the main differences i am seeing.

    If it aint broke dont fix it I suppose. Well if you guys want to have the deja vu feeling all the time go right ahead. As for me, i am either going to head over to age of conan for the real time combat, realistic jumping, making your own town, and other things that are original and new, or i will just wait for guildwars 2 to come out.

    by the way i understand that warhammer was in development before warcraft.

Well, I usually dont comment on these types of posts but I have to admit it is getting old. The simple truth is anyone who says this game is just like WoW has never really spent any time looking at anything for Warhammer.. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

Game seems funny to me.

Im not saying this would be a bad game or anything. I am just curious to if everyone was sick of the ol level up to lvl 50 or whatever then screw with people in pvp cause there aint much else to do. The good thing is that in this game pvp actually affects you and the world so you might be less bored in this game than warcraft. It is just the way you do it is repetitive.

Yeah, you can actually level up while PvPing instead of the normal PvE level grind one will see in all other MMOs out.

Enjoy Conan, I will (and many others) will stick to War.

Man like I didn't see this kind of thread comin from miles away just by looking at the title. I bet if all the new things you're looking for aren't as good as you expect, you'll be crying about it.

to OP, was WoW your 1st MMO or maybe even 1st game?

That's the point. If you think about it, everything you do in a daily schedule is repetitive. If you don't think about it, that means you enjoy it. That's the key here; I think by the time RvR and world pvp gets repetitive for most of the players, the game will be hugely successful with many new people coming in. And Mythic can always add twists and turns to it, building on the basic concept, as long as they stay true.
