The ingame video is a pretty nice glimpse of some of the various areas, but it looks like it was made at various phases of beta since sometimes you see the lighting effects engine in effect and other times you don't. Overall its pretty good imo. |

The in-game video looks very nice and reminds me a bit of Lord of the Rings Online (which is a good thing!!) |

I dunno, I think the avatars look terrible. Obviously, hard to judge 'til we've seen it running in high resolution on a high-spec PC and it might have just been because the vids were dark elves but the avatars looked very skinny and I wasn't massively impressed with the graphical look of the buildings either. Don't get me wrong, I'll still be buying and trying the game, but those videos both lacked the "woot" factor imo. |

Really good find. The first video is particularly good quality I thought,and it was nice to hear some in game voices and sounds instead of placeholders. I would love to hear the racial theme music for each type in the game though. Its a shame EA didn't include a CD of the music in the CE preorder. I have listened to the podcast about the music lots of times.The dwarf theme is really good, makes me wonder what they did for empire. |
