LOL, so what you are saying is botting levels the playing field, but hardcore players will still have an advantage.  See my problem with understanding the logic ? Are we not clear on the definition of level playing field ? :)

Botting levels the playing field in that if people dont have to worry about being out leveled or out geared, because they can farm all day and grind all day no matter what their r/l situations are.

The only advantage a hardcore gamer would get is being able to do quests for honour and what not.

Either way the bot still helps to level the playing field as far as pvping goes and that is one of the big things in this game.

Maybe i should rephrase what i said to HELPS to level the playing field.

I understand what your saying though. I did contradict myself back there. I hope that explains what i ment abit better.

Well I did try the game. It is utter crap and I would like to know WTF takes up over 2 gigs of hard drive space ?

I have seen plenty f2p games with a ton more content and a client half the size or less.  The graphics are pre 2000, content is barely more than the bottom of the barrel of f2p gaming.....  Seriously someone tell me what is taking up all this space, is it the super smart bot ai ? LULZ, that was a joke.

President of what?

Yeah you tried the game for 5 minutes.  Thats why you didn't notice the things that make this game great.  The graphi style is like Diablo, 3rd person isometri 2.5D.  But the graphics themself are better than Diablo.  And this is a true MMO, unlike diablo.  There are so many great things about this game.  You just have to get past level 15 to start to see them.  And that takes about 4 hours, so your 5 minute tour gives you opinion zero value.

I suggest anyone looking for a new open beta or a FTP MMO get in this one fast.  They will not wipe when beta ends, and this is thge begging of something great.  Don't let the graphics fool you, this is a great game.  And people who played it for 5 minutes know nothing about what this game offers.  See you in game friends :D

Been playing for a few days, and... still not sure if it's worth it or not.

Pro:

better graphics then the first glance can catch (althought isnt something i look for)

Click on map to move to that spot

diablo style of play (althought lots of diferences)

crafting gear (as far as i can see, the best gear is crafted, and not drops)

Bot !! (you configure it, and go for lunch!)

Maybe the faction wars, but not enough people/lvls and info, to know.

a few more things like Housing, Mounts, Country chat, auction house, branch of class skills, and a few more.

Cons:

... the grind, not even the bot helps. At late 40s it takes 2+ days, 24/7 botting same lvl mobs to get 1 miserable lvl. Game has atleast lvl 70 (no one actually knows what the max lvl is... that mutch of a grind!)

Bot !! yep, also in cons... seeing 5 people in team, by multi-client, killing all mobs in sight, isnt funny. This happens in "any" game, by with the bot configured properly, heals, dps, potions, loot, anything is done. Also, almost everyone lets the bot on mob spots over the night (and day!). With 3-5+ people on 1 spot, it's very hard to get any kill.

crafting... oh yeah, also in cons... altought i love crafting of any kind, this one is also a grind! Do 480 of this to get the next crafting lvl. Now, do 640 of that... ffs.

everyone looks the same. There's just slight changes, that after you played some, you can see that that char is a certain class, but besides your knowledge over time, everyone looks the same.

althought this might not be for everyone, but there's alot of "location/actions" lag. This is: while using 2 chars, to team or trade, most of the times there's a delay of 2 seconds or so, for the char A to see the char B in place. Have 2 clients open, get one char to follow the other, change to the 2nd client, that char isnt seeing the 1st char yet, i wait a couple seconds, and there he appears...

dont have mutch experience with it, only been in neutral maps a few times... but... will be almost impossible to lvl in neutral maps at higher lvl. Enemy faction + ability to config the bot to attack enemy faction + somewhat small maps + the possibility of having ALOT of people on 1 server = disaster.

only 1 city per faction. There's a small village in the map you start, then the main city on the next map, then a small outpost in the last faction map before the neutral lands. That's it. The creators say each server can have 3000 players online at any time.... ouch!

grind for Skill Books. Yep, you want to use the next lvl skill? grind for 2 days on those mobs over there, untill with luck, one drops...

and some more, like limited space of inventory/warehouse, in conflict with the grinding crafting where you have to use around 800 peices of material to get from lvl 3  to 4 of a certain branch. A few events aparently are hour based "you can only enter if you talk to NPC between hour 19 to 20" kind of thing.

I'm sure i could get several more Cons... but i'll leave it at this, since i am still playing it for now...

So far I see a ton more cons than pros.  Graphics are like diablo, along with 100 other f2p games, that look better than this one.  Hint comparing graphics to diablo, a game from the 1990s isn't helping your arguement.

Many other f2p games have crafting and mounts and 3d graphics already. I haven't played much but I am lvl 19 so don't accuse me of playing for 5 minutes.

I can't see how anyone could like this game more than the better f2p games, but I guess someone had to play this asian junk in order for it to be ported to the west lol.

Country chat , wow, hardly a feature worth mentioning considering almost every mmo has it these days.

Basically I see one community member and some new accounts with less than 10 posts hyping a horrible horrible game, that's the bottom line.

forever we will remember, forever forgotten it will be not.

Garrik man i'm agreeing with everyone against your logic because they are right. You are like a kid in a candy store, "OMG I can leave and the game plays for me OMFG!! CoOlEsT ThInG EvA!!!!!1111111"

First of all adding a legal bot to a game is idiotic that's like saying, "we know our game will suck so bad no one will really want to play it so we'll just let the game play for you :D. Here's a lolipop doesn't it feel better now :)" Adding a bot doesn't level any playing field, it makes the playing field irrelevant. In fact there is no playing field, cause who the hell is playing? Everyone is out getting coffee and skipping in meadow pastures as the game plays for them. You really don't see how idiotic this system is? Seriously?

Secondly you can't compare EvE to this because there is no way in hell it is the same thing, you can't bot EvE to play the game for you. You learn your skills while you are away but at the same time you aren't blasting shit away and gaining in-game money/items from it.

Thirdly there is no economy and will never be an economy. It'll be like pick a number out of the air. "Hmmm today I think I'll sell my glukgluks for 2903723490323432." And the players will just pay it as they are not earning the money, there would be no set prices, ever. Demand would play a game with the devil in this MMO, if there is no one that has it then it's going to cost you 3905723905732904 just because they can. Money will have no value as everyone is saying, everyone can get it and large amounts of it with no effect. It's madness.

Quadly there is tons of people leaving and in large amounts because they realized it's not a game it's a simulation, it's like playing with a frickin neopet or one of the those ungodly amount of rip off pet device thingers. That's all it is, your character is a pet and if it's naughty you sentenced it to 3943209 more hours of grinding :O.

Anyway while the devs try to spout this off as some glorious invention, people will see it for what it is. Worthless.

I can get to 19 in about 1 hour or less. What do you know of the game...? Nothing.

And, should i just post to bash a game to look cool, like... you, or try to actually review it properly? If you read my post again, i clearly state what I think is pro/con, not sure if i will keep playing, and that it needs some more gameplay to understand the 'end game'.

Also, you should read the post you are commenting on, better. I never talked about graphics on diablo. I clearly stated gameplay.

Maybe you should learn to actually test something... before trying to look like you know something about it.

HashBrick:

yep, pretty mutch what you said. Altought personally not sure if the bot is all that bad or not... still trying to figure out all the things it influences. But on everything else... you are right.
