WAR (Warhammer Online)

The biggest MMO fun factor for me is solo play vs playing with others.

One of the reasons why I didn’t like WoW so much was the massive amount of solo time, then forced grouping.  Or missed content because of lack of group – guild.

I like CoX but it’s only really fun for me when I’m grouped or pvp’ing, which nowadays doesn’t always happed (but it usually does).

WAR seems to put a lot of effort into playing with others without having to wait for a group to form.  With pvp, public quests and city sieges I’m thinking I can get involved whenever I want, or solo whenever I want. 

I think this will have a huge impact on how fun a MMO can be.

I agree. This game will be very fun. I like Mythics approach with PQs and RvR because even if you don't want to group with people you can still participate and enjoy mostly the same things. I myself sometimes like to solo for the mere fact of being alone but some MMOs make that difficult depending on your class and what not.

This concept is one of the biggest reasons Im interested in WAR.  I've always hated forced grouping but enjoyed grouping when I wanted too.   If it pans out...it could be a really huge step forward for balancing how to get players to work together without forcing playstyles on them.

I enjoy co op but sometimes its just nice if i only have a short time to play to know there's activites I can do that help progress things but don't rely on me finding a pug group that could turn the experience sour.

Uh yes it does matter if your solo or grouped..Grouped means you have to deal with the consquences of some jackass messing around, ninja looting, or being rude.  

I like to group but I hate having no choice but TO group usualy when your forced to group you get alot of jerk offs.   Atleast when its optional you'll get people who Want to Group.   think of it as ..whether or not you support drafting into the military.   When you draft alot of people into the army who don't want to go you get Vietnam when you get alot of people who want to be in the military you atleast get minimal casualities.

Much like everyone here, I too am pumped for the team work and bringing the WAR in Warhammer! Team work, tactical action, and lots of fire works!

Now I'm going to say what it has been written so many times (read too much time):
If you knew a bit more about mmorpgs (and sorry to say it doesn't sounds like you do, just maybe a tiny bit) and if you could read past the 2nd line of what people write, you wouldn't say what you've just state. Makes you look bad. Now if you're still reading (which I think you're not) you should have read that people are getting tired of playing games where you're forced to group or pug and actually like to solo which still contributes to the RvR, one of the strong aspect of WAR, or just group for the sole joy of bashing heads and mangling torsos (kind of - hehe) - meaning PvP. You actually just state "Does it really matter if you're solo or grouped?" well yes it does - if you're tired of mmos there's a lot of other interesting things to do while you're still alive, like curling!!
Now for one last thing I'm totally not going to debate further nor do I care for you little existence and last but not least I'm totally enjoying writting this and no, I'm totally not mad about you, I just don't give a.. damn.

First time I used the report feature of this forum.  Calling everyone tools is just not necessary.
