The overview page says it all to me. It's way too much information to be taken seriously; way too many firm promises that no serious developer would make. It's glib and talky, compare it to all the other developer statements, which are cagey and cautious. I have no inside info, it just feels phony. Plus they spell "prestige" wrong repeatedly, which seems pretty silly... spellcheck, anyone? |

Interestingly, Mortal Online has been in development since 2002 yet has no screenshots or vids proving that it exists. They don't even have info regarding races or mounts! At least Darkfall has screenshots, vids and detailed game info to prove that it exists. Mortal Online's "release date" next year is just there to attract a fan community that will be used by the developers as evidence that their product is worthy of investor cash. It will not release in 2009 and we can just assume that the game is vapourware until the developers can prove that their game actually exists.
