I have seen a video where they show Dark Elf NPC riding Cold Ones. So I have no doubt the players will ride Cold Ones aswell.. If so, I will get sad.

Cold ones would be far cooler...but the art they showed us in a newsletter last year were black wild looking horses...seems only the dwarves and greenskins are getting the cool looking mounts.  I hope this changes in the future and they give us more options because the Table Top mounts are wicked cool looking..dragons, lizards, squigs, spiders!  Humans always get horses but thats just silly humans rofl

The only mounts I have seen were following:

Orcs - Boars
Goblins - Wolves
Empire - Horse
Chaos - Demon Horde
Dwarf - Strange looking van
High Elves - Elven Horses

Cant remember seeing any Dark Dark Elf Horse.

i remember reading from a interview somewhere, that all would get a mount rather early compared to most mmorpgs, and that everyone later in the game will get something "cooler" ... so my guess would a that u would get a horse first as Darkelf ;)

Not sure I'm not planning on playing a Dark Elf lol. But Cold Ones would be very sweet.

Most probably Cold Ones for Dark Elves.
Do someone also remember an article about something like "there will be also places were Dark Elves put their Cold Ones" or something of this sort. I'm almost sure to have read that ages ago.

Anyway it wouldn't make any sense a Dark Elf riding a "normal" horse and it would be contradictory of where the game is based on, Warhammer that is.

Dark elf heavy cavalry and other nobles usually ride about on Cold Ones, but there is also a scout cavalry that ride horses. Mean horsies.

Yes indeedy there are... Dark Riders, 18pts per model, mounted on Dark Steeds. ;)

But I think that since they want all races to be as Unique as possible, they will try find unique mounts aswell. And becouse Elven Horses already have been used, I bet they will use Cold Ones.

Empire Horses and Elven horses arnt the same. And Dark Elves riding on horses use High Elf horses they have captured.
