Behold! Rash of the Itch King comes in November! Quake in fear!

Frostmourne, epic blade of evil magic, inscribed with runes of primordial power, great corruptor or Arthas...

...seems a little short. Thought it'd be longer and more intimidating .

Standard longsword was actually about 42 inches, so its got about an extra 5 inches to it. The blade is a bit short, but thats because of the design.

edit: And there is no way I would pay that much for a sword thats value is tied to a game. Soon as WoW does die, not saying it is, but lets be honest here, the guy who paid $20,700 for #1 might be able to get $100 for it.

Whoever paid $20K for a toy sword is an idiot.   You have got to be kidding me.  Although, this would hang nicely in my gaming suite!

Edit:  You can pre order it here for under $400....

I wouldn't pay $100 for it myself. I admit its a nice looking sword, but I just can't imagine paying that much for something that the only use is hanging on the wall.

Actually the value of the sword will increase when WoW is gone provided it stays in good condition.  Just look at the value of Star Wars memorabilia now.  Now, I think he overpaid for that sword, as per a link below it's only worth about $400 bucks, so it's gonna take awhile for that sword to be worth 20 grand. :)
