Like everybody here in the SEA servers, I would like Bill Roper and all the staff at their HQ to know that everybody in Asia are boikoting the game and any games coming from your company. We had numerous discussion of how bad we are getting the short end of the stick and how disrespectfull of them to their customers. The game may be a big letdown but where are the patches that are promised? At least give us that much. Its been months since we heard of any updates, and IAH is practicly running out of steam to fool the players into supporting the game. We have no idea what is going on at your end but for hell sake why are we being treated so badly. Did we do something wrong? Many have already either sold their copy, thrown it away (no kidding), Break it to peices( which i watch in person), or doing other nasty things to that disc. |

But the anger and frustration here is real. Once a game has gone sour here, the people who bought it are very insidious towards the company and provider. I mean there were talks on how to sue the companies for not providing. There was also a point where gamers were treatening to march to IAH and storm into the building demanding the patch be given. Heck, the was also a newspaper report on how bad we got conned into purchasing the game!!! |

Im sorry but there were multiple warning signs if you followed its development at all before the game was released. First they were giving the non-pay people the absolutely minimal they possibly could without tarnishing the release, we almost got an unplayable game that had no elite mode for us that arent paralyzed from the waste up. Just constant nickle and diming. Second is their publisher is none of than EA games, anything remotely related to EA is an immediate sign to not buy the game, if your not aware of them in asia then heres your wakeup call.
It could have not been your fault and you could just be ignorant of the above in which all I can do is post the warnings so others wont be conned. |

Well HGL cant even be called a MMOG by any standards,it's more like freelancer (in terms of multiplayer, not fun, freelancer is still fun after all this time),basicly you log on to a server were there is a game world. HGL is a vanguard in smaller proportions,it promised alot and delivered even less then promised. |

Do only to others what you would do unto them. You guys don't like the game, then why are you upset about it?

Considering how bad the US and EU get screwed over by all of your gaming companies I don't care, how many of the good games on console or PC even come to the other parts of the world like half? Most of the ones that do, are like 3 years behind on patches. So why don't you guys do what you always tell us to do, "deal with it, or don't play it." I gotta say HGL has been similar to vanguard in that it seems somewhat unfinished as far as bugs and polish to the game go, but for SEA peeps to complain about how you don't get patches frequently and how your being so abused by a company in the states is so hypocritical it's almost funny. Especially when you have companies like microsoft bending over backwards to try to please you and still their sells are horrible in SEA. Back on topic~ I find my enjoyment of this game is alot when it works, they just didnt spend the time to get the game to a full working order as of yet and I'm not sure if they ever will for SEA or the US. |

You want to compare our games with yours? Our games suck so much i wouldn't even bother to download it even if its free or install it even when a installer disc was given to me. But when you pay what we payed in our currency for HGL, it not funny anymore.

It is essentially the same story all throughout the world with this title; it isn't just Asia.
First the game was in such horrid shape that it should not have seen the light of release day for a solid two months of bug fixes. Even then the game didn't have an ounce of in-game features that were listed on the website (before release).
Secondly, the game's development company pulled a "bait and switch" tactic on free features, founders features, and subscription features. I mean, they totally rewrote the whole online features comparison table -- AFTER many people had already subscribed/founded.
Third, they acknowledged that they KNEW, for months prior to release, that there were major memory leak problems but couldn't find them prior to release.
Forth, their response/actions towards in-game spammers has been lackluster, to say the most about it.
Fifth, their "support" is laughable at best and at worst it just plain doesn't exist.
Sixth, their billing system was a farce for well over two solid months AFTER release. Did anybody even both to test this thing before release?
Seventh, FSS and Ping0 have signed an agreement with a well-known spamming/farming company, for "future" titles and/or content in their games -- a'la item mall.
I suppose I could go on and on about all the things they did not do right but I won't; it isn't worth it. They have proven that the bottomline is cash and they haven't got an ounce of care for anything else. Otherwise we wouldn't be seeing the whole "You should thank us for our hard work" speeches Bill & team put out, when they announce (6 months later) that they are bringing in shared stash...yeah.
So this is the subscriber content, huh? Wait for months on items promised at release and then be asked to be thankful? I guess that is like being told you should be thankful you still have your job and to not ask for a raise or your position may be off-shored...
They have a reputation that they are 100% responsible for now. When your company name has become a catch-phrase that means you've been duped/screwed, you know that you have pretty much blown your first (and in most cases only) impression. "You've been Flagshipped". |

I played the beta. Like the game. Read the news about the game tanking. And I have buy the full game. Finished it, and ignore it. I like it, but has not much replayability to me. |

Originally posted by meetxj9 Well I'd compare some of your games with ours, SEA makes some great games especially in the RPG genre not really in the MMORPG genre. I think for the most part our sandbox / mmo type games are generally on a higher level but anyways thats not the point. I think the post above about how fss has failed everyone is more correct then how they have failed SEA. I think we in the US have obviously received 'better' support but it's sort of a subjective word because our game is still far from bug free. |

Originally posted by nightphantom Um, yes. Many of the things which were to be for free players as well as paying subscribers were taken away from free players and made subscription only after the game was already released. |

Originally posted by nightphantomthank you. I was wondering if anyone at all saw that most of these posts are over-exagerrated. I pre-ordered the game and played it for a few weeks, then stuff came up and i stopped playing. I enjoy the game (enjoy, not enjoyED), because it's still pretty fun to knock around for about an hour or two. TBH, i never saw any serious bugs in the game. When it first came out, i was able to play it with almost no hitching or crashes at all. It may be my rig, but i doubt that (HP pavillion, some modifications to ram and new gfx card). I play the f2p setup, and it's not that bad. Sure, i sorta wish i could access some of the cool stuff that are sub-only, but since i don't play it that much, i don't see subbing to it as being worth-while. still not seeing what bugs you guys are crying so much over. |

Originally posted by Zorvan I can't think of anything they took from free players that they already had, that made them sub only. They've made some things that were sub only into free too, but you don't see me complaining? I'm getting my money's worth in Stonehenge. |
