One must wonder how they will handle it as an RPG. a planetside style would have been very groovy.

I was thinking about the whole MMORPG thing with cover and supression fire and I really hope that it's not like Tabula Rasa. But without any real info to go on, I can only speculate. Personaly, for me FPS or 3rd person real time combat would be prefferable for this type of a game. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The problem with TB is that it has no PvP thus it cannot draw on it's biggest strength which is it's run and gun fps style game play. Games I've played/tried out:WAR, LOTRO, Tabula Rasa, AoC, EQ1, EQ2, WoW, Vangaurd, FFXI, D&DO, Lineage 2, Saga Of Ryzom, EvE Online, DAoC, Guild Wars,Star Wars Galaxies, Hell Gate London, Auto Assault, Grando Espada ( AKA SoTNW ), Archlord, CoV/H, Star Trek Online, APB, Champions Online, FFXIV, Rift Online, GW2. Game(s) I Am Currently Playing: GW2 (+LoL and BF3)

So if they launch in 2010 then it will have been in development for four years which is how long it generaly takes to make a good MMO today. Well you could use that or you could use the fact the almost every MMO that comes out now states a date and are a further year to 2 years behind that,Just a thought,I mean how many mmo's get delayed from there Q1 2007 to Q1 2008 these days?maybe something to keep in mind.
