Wouldn't the idea of testing this game purposefully with areas walled off possibly lead to issues later in those areas not tested? Does anyone remember falling through the world in Vanguard? I did plenty of times when I decided to go "exploring". I understand focused testing, but it seems to be a bit late in the game to leave large chunks of the world  untested at this point with little or no inhabitants or purpose.

Huzzaah?!

Its being made for the PC, but with only 4 types or attacks (In general I think) it might me more fun on a console... I prefer button bashing for computer! With a bit of button variety.

Give me a good skill based sandbox game, and i'll give you a cookie!

There was a video released about 3-4 months back that stated the PC version would get an expansion release to bring its graphics upto part with the 360 version when the 360 version is released.

Thats stupid... They're going to cut down the graphics just to make it look like the 360's? Are you sure you're not mistaken?

No, not at all. When you play this game, i want you to tell me whether the game is at its highest of what an MMO can do, potential wise. Size wise.

Most of you are expecting this to be super de duper awesome, but if you have been reading upon the forums recently over the regarded " invisible walls speculation" then you may realize its not massive because the 360 cant handle massive.

Funcom has said this is a multi-platform game but has also said that the X-Box version will be out at least "12 months" after the PC version and thats a "rough estimate". Just Google it and you will find it.

Trust me, you do not develop a game for the platform that you launch on a year after the game inititally launches. The game is without a doubt being developed for the PC first and foremost. Unlike Final Fantasy XI, that launched on the PS2 LONG before the PC version came out.

And as far as your invisible wall comment.....you said it yourself - "speculation". You have no proof and nor do I. We just have to wait and see.

And I disagree with you on "massive" and what the X-box can handle - but massive is a subjective term and not worth arguing over.

Or, i am trying to avoid my 5th ban in a row for NDA violation, and sublimally stating said content(invisible walls) in the form of  "speculation".

Also i do have proof, its called the internet. Internet is a collection of websites which shall go unnamed.

WOW, you have been banned 4 times now for breaking the NDA and gather your information from random websites on the Internet that also break the NDA.

Sorry to say it, but that makes you about the most untrustworthy person on these forums. As well as unethical. Everything you say or post about the game is now totally worthless in my mind and I will now disregard it.

Good day.

Yes and if I remember right it was basicly a PS2 MMO ported to the PC for north american release?

FFXI was one of the better MMO's I've played.. bit to grindy for my tastes.. but very good game.

Actually being able to do most everything with a PC Gamepad.. I really liked that.  Other than talking to people I could just recline back.

Being developed for XBox360 or ported.. really doesn't affect my decision to buy the game.  Tho I won't buy an Xbox360... but that's a different story (not a console person)

As a customer I don't have to know how to make a better game than you. I just need to know where the cancel button is.
