Say you were incharge of a game company and you came up with the main idea's to your game. You have a game world in which you play in. What would you call your game world. For example I would call it Tyrius. Then also for your game world would you have classes or skill trees. And finally if your game was set in a Sci-Fi fantasy world what would you call your game. Thankyou. Played: WoW, Guild wars, Eve, SWG, and more |

The only difference between a Troll and a Fanboi is which side of the fence they stand on. |

naming our world was easy at my studio... I originally was going to leave naming conventions out of it but it just kinda happened. Let me elaborate: I was at the local drinking establishment throwing a few back with some of the guys, and the topic came up. We started slinging silly and serious names, random words from the menu, and funny drinks. Then anagrams of those things. Our very lovely (and almost not legal) waitress came over and said "what are you guys doing?" and we told her... she spit out a word and all of us were like "...wow... that actually works... can we borrow your pen?" The end. It's quite a lovely story actually. Goes to show you ideas come from unlikely places. - CaesarsGhost Lead Gameplay and Gameworld Designer for a yet unnamed MMO Title. |

The Ever Questing Lords of FantasyCraft Four unique character classes: Warrior - A stoic fighter, he absorbs damage and keeps enemies occupied Cleric - A selfless healer that can grant blessings, boosting your party's combat effectiveness Wizard - This master of the arcane bends the elements to affect multiple enemies at once Ranger - A man of the forest and master of the bow, he softens agro'd enemies, sits in the back shooting randomly and.... well... we're really not sure why we added this one actually.... Three Unique Races: Elves - Do we even need to describe this? <sigh> Fine! An Ancient, noble and enigmatic race that we only included because it's officially required by law in any fantasy game. Humans - Okay, go look in the mirror. Yeah, that's a human. If you go outside, you might see bunches of them just walking around. We know, we know... It's just been so long since you've seen any.... Dwarves - They're short. They're drunk. They're capable of taking an axe to the forehead and continue fighting. They have a Scottish accent (also required by law). And you can be one of them! Innovative Advancement system: Players will get "quests" from non-player characters, or "NPCs," that have big, flashing neon quest signs over their head. These "quests" offer rewards to the player in the form of in-game items and gold as well as "experience points" also known as "XP." As character accumulate "XP" the game will automatically increase all of that characters "attributes" or stats. This will allow players to tackle harder quests that will offer more "XP", and more gold. Players will also have the exciting option of simply killing monsters as they are given "XP" for every kill. Not only that, but each monster also has a chance of dropping gold or items as well! If the player is really lucky, he or she will score a rare item that can will enhance their character's performance or can be sold to other players though our totally groundbreaking auction house system! In Depth Crafting System: Occasionally, monsters will drop items that are not items or gear. These drops will actually be components for custom items that the player can craft! In each town, there will be a blacksmith shop with an anvil that players will be able to click on in order to open the crafting interface. Here players will be able to use "recipes" that they have purchased, or simply combine components at random in order to discover new "recipes." TEQLoFC blazes a trail for the industry by positively encouraging players to take advantage of the possibilities of crafting. How? By making the highest end gear only accessible through crafting! Buy and Selling.... Anonymously!!!: With TEQLoFC, players will be able to post items they no longer need at an "auction house." How does it Work? Simple! The player simply drags the item to the auction house, sets a starting bid or selling price and that's it! When the item gets sold, the in-game currency is automatically added to character's inventory. Just like a real medieval society! PvP: We aren't at liberty to discuss the specifics of the PvP just yet, but expect it to be implemented sometime around the second expansion. Hardcore, Raiding to the Xtreme: We on the TEQLoFC development team honestly believe that their is no "I" in T-E-A-M and that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. It's for this reason that we strive to promote teamwork in the game by providing dungeons and "boss" monsters that are so challenging that they can only be defeated by a team of no less that 100 people in sixteen or more hours! Using our award winning party management UI, a.k.a. The Cat Herder, dedicated players will be able to coordinate massive assaults against enormously overpowered monsters in a bid to acquire the most rare components for crafting. Using our patented Brownie Points system, raid leaders will be able to award loot based on each party members performance.
