Well.. I just bought Crysis, and I'd heard so much great stuff about it (especially the graphics), and then after waiting a few hours for the 12 GB installing, I found out that it laggs REALLY bad.. My computer was supposed to fit the requirements though..

Congratulations! You're the proud owner of 2008's "Benchmark of the Year". There's a game in there too. somewhere. To play, you selectively upgrade your computer until the hidden levels become playable. But don't get too attached, it's over all too soon.

specs?  Setting you ran it on?  A lot of people try to play games on the exact minimum specs and expect it to run well.

Welcome to the future of graphics, and extreme requirements on the computers, but that's hardly necessary to add in our marketing campaign.

I will say tho that the game doesant take up 12 gig it takes up 2.9 on my computer.

And i run it at max settings on my 2 year old [almost] computer.

I highly doubt that.

2.6 duel core intell processor.

4 gig of ram

8800 Nvida based chipset graphics card.

And a little program i downloaded that makes my duel core work properly in XP.

DirectX 9.0 BTW

Dont know where you get the idea that you need a super computer, i run it just fine on my laptop.

You do not run every setting at very high unless maybe if you play at 800x600 or 1024x768. Also the GeForce 8800 cards are not two years old, they are not even quite a year old yet. I suspect you may have a newer Core 2 procesor that is also not two years old as you claim.

I only brought issue because my computer is REALLY two years old and was near top of the line at the time and can only play Crysis at medium settings.
