 - I doubt, they'll go as far as having huge 'Greeco Pizza' billboards in the wilds. 

 - I, also, doubt the use of scenerio adds;

  - Annoying, as it would be, having a poster add as you login might be a possibility. ../shrug

  - A better use would be a bulletin board in a trade post or tavern, where you could just double click on it and check it out. (Mmm, Guiness!)

I hope they add the pizza-hut thing they did in everquest :D

Ahh, I missed out on EQ but that's what I was 'kind of' thinking of, too.    

yah :D it allowed you to order pizza while in game just incase you were in an intense raid or to lazy or busy to get food :D Really helped those hungry gamers!  Pizza Hut

As long as the ads are for beer, assorted liquors, $3000 hookers, ultimate fighting, and maybe craftsman hand tools i will be ok.  The the first time i see a Honda, Pizza Hut, University of Phoenix Online ad anywhere in teh game,,, I am going to light a kitten on fire. 

  Well it's just my outlook on the whole issue.

 I say let the adverts happen but within a sensible context for the game in question.  The more the industry makes 'may' translate in better content for current titles and more games in general, more often.

 But, if they do any of the first three points in my original post, I'd be annoyed.  I'd likely quit any game due to those forced breaks in immersion instead of just the technical ones.

this is crap, there will be no in game adds, that would defeat the purpose of RPing if everytime I got into a tavern i see AXE body spray, its completely made up whoever started this is a very stupis person.

  I have it on the best authority that the King does use Axe products. 

 It's the very same group that claim they know that AoC will have ads all over the game, be in beta for 5yrs more, and likely have it's code base sold off to the NSSIA - National Sea Serpent Institute of Antartica.

 Ok, on a more serious note, it's just legal documentation from the terms of service and doesn't mean they'll have ads from the start or at all.  It's just covering all the bases as a good legal write up should.

 As for my fourth point, in my first post, I guess I should made it clearer.

  I meant that the bulletin board would fit into the scenes background and just highlight as a clickable item then bring up an advert or could easily be totally ignored.  It's still better than my first 3 ideas ... by a long-shot.

 Companies pay to place advertisements and the development/hosting company gets extra pay by individual player accounts checking them out.  ..Click and pay.
