EVE Online

Every once in a blue moon I get wild hair up my butt and decided to give Eve online a whirl, well today was one such day. So I down load 14 day free trial period and I quite after 5 min.  I trying to do the train thing and I screw up this thing in the upper right hand screen tells you were every thing is, and course I can't figure out how to fix it, and of course every one in game was being rude. So naturally I quite, I'm sorry but any game that is that difficult to figure out is not worth the time and effort.

I would sell my soul to the devil for a good Space Flight game were I can dog fight with a Joy stick instead of these pansy point and click fighting. I want a fighter were I can get in to smack out battle that would give me flash backs to Star Wars. Instead what do we get...Eve online.

O well I gave it a shot, maybe in another two years I'll give it another shot.

I know I'll get crucified for saying this here, but right now SWG is the only game with halfway decent joystick controlled space combat.  It's far from perfect but it is more action oriented than EvEs combat.  EvE is a different beast altogether, it's more tactical and strategic.  I enjoy it but only in short bursts, it's not a game I could play for hours on end day after day.  SWG is really the only thing to fill that twitch space combat bug until Jumpgate Evolution comes out.

So you played for 5 minutes, couldnt figure it out and quit.

I dont think that EVE is the right game for you. Have fun in SWG. Now was this thread entirely necessary?

 Soo you made this thread to show us how rebelious you are that you quit a game after 5mins or to show us how utterly stupid you are and that I should not put my faith in humanity ?

Its like aquarium... thats just first "filter" step, which make our EVE waters fresh, and clear.

Out and far of all that WoW style kids etc.

Nice way of putting it too...what I was gonna say was a bit more mean lol.

Eve Online requires intelligence and patients it will take you a week to get to know the basics and alot longer to get the hang of most other things. Its not a game you can install load up buy some gold from a gold farmer and buy elite armors and weapons and go round pawn people and calling them noobs. Yes you can buy in game money from dodgy people but your still gona get your ass handed to you, and then CCP will put your wallet to -9bil debt for buying the gold and braking the rules.

Maybe Tetris?... or maybe that game where you try and figure out which blocks go into the shaped holes...   ah but then, if you cant figure it out maybe you will just "quite" because people will be rude.

People are being rude to you because you cant figure out 'basic' things, its not a problem with the game, its a problem of your IQ level.

Thats harsh the target window has always been alittle buggy and it could be he need to go to his C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data and remove the eve settings folder to reset it.

lol ye this is good filter, i tryed trial too and there was nothing rly hard if u fallow tutorial. maybe if ur english aint so good its harder..  i played it like 5days and liked it. but i still stay in WoW coz all my friends r theare :p

EvE have this unique feeling in it...
