Constant dropping of features, no mounted combat. They dropped mounted combat and added keeps to fight over. Where is the CONSTANT dropping of features? I think you might be thinking of AoC on this.
Combat is the same old boring thing, mark the target click the spell. Only DarkFall is trying different casting where you don't click and then click a spell, and it may never ever come out.
Unrealistic release dates that developers set even tho they aren't even being pushed by EA. I foresee 3 more date pushes at least. They have done two pushbacks and if you honestly see anymore coming I think you can write this post off as a joke.

I am the green obviously.

Spot on!

This is exactly the reason why I wont be playing this game. Hated Mythic's ideas from day 1. It's a brutal murder of a great IP titel...

hearing about all the capture the flag "scenarios" makes think everyone is going to

be shoved away in some instance and not outside doing world rvr which is what

im most looking forward to.

World RvR = More xp and Renown so i highly doubt that people will spend more time in scenarios.

Is it? The only mention i saw was that they sort of equalized it?

Yes infact they pretty much bash wow in their lastest PvP/RvR cast talking about how instanced pvp will still help the cause but most of the focus will be on world pvp and taking keeps.  For those of you who are just simply bashing graphics and animations and simple combat atm you need to realize that 99% of the shots are unfinished as well as the movies they are putting out.  It is a work in progress and has time before we see something close to finish.  So as another poster has said I think it's way to early inless you are just waiting on something else to hit and/or are simply tired of mmo's atm.

And I cannot wait for this game to release, I loved the RvR in DAoC and it finally sounds like that is the direction they are going back to.  I cannot wait.

I am just posting this to see how many players "won't" be playing Warhammer? I want any reason. I can tell you one of the reasons I'm not playing Warhammer is it's just another class base pvp system. I love my PVP, but I hate rock paper scissors version of pvp. So this is my reason, but to anyone not going to play Warhammer online I want to know yours.

I "wont" be playing WAR;

Tired of the same level / class / gear based grind fest.

waiting for Darkfall.

The game that has "advanced" classes or what have you? The same game that makes you "grind" to "level" your skills to 100? If "gear" doesn't make some difference, there would be no need to have it.

Arkane I think you miss the point of a sandbox game, and a class base game. In a sandbox game if a player is tired of certain skills they can go in another direction without having to start from scratch. You can't do that in class based games. You simply have to reroll. To make it worst the only thing that seperates you from the others that are the same class might be gear, but that's about it. Class base games are good just too frequent in this market hench players are wanting something new, and not just diffrent.

Warhammer
Alliance

So much ignorance and misinformed opinions that are stopping people play WAR its a shame.

These people need to educate themselves as to whether the reason is factual or just their impression.

I for one will be there and looking forward to a Fun MMO (for a change).

Gamers who use RMT are like athletes who use steroids.

I won't be playing WAR because it is very structured like WoW. I want more of a sandbox game.

If you view the developers game discussion videos, they explain in painful detail about the tiered zones and how you advance from zone 1 to zone 2 etc. in a linear fashion, very much how WoW does this with their quest system. While I can appreciate the simplicity of such a design for most casual gamers, I want a game which allows me much more freedom and promotes intelligent decison making and exploration as part of that freedom.

I also won't be playing WAR because the developers have chosen to bastardize the game by selling ingame items and advantages as part of their preoder and collectors edition incentive. This is a disturbing trend which destroys the concept of a fair and level playing field. I refuse to pay more or pay early in order to not be at a disadvantage playing the game when it launches. It's one thing to start a game after launch and be expected to invest more time to catch up, but entirely unfair to start at a disadvantage because the developers are selling out like gold farmers and item shop games.

With PvE raiding it has never been a question of being "good enough". I play games to have fun, not to be a simpering toady sitting through hour after hour of mind numbing boredom and fauning over a guild master in the hopes that he will condescend to reward me with shiny bits of loot. But in games where those people get the highest progression anyone who doesn't do that will just be a moving target for them and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay money for the privelege. - Neanderthal

First off what other sandbox game as survived besides EVE?  Even then I load up EVE and get lost in what I need to do right away, thats why I prefer a story.  As for your second part... what other mmo HASN'T done this?  Please name one, as far as I know, every mmo has done it at one point and time.

Sorry but the game is vaporware.  Development for 7+ years?  Sucky community?  Not well known/popular?  Claims they will release the game themselves (uber fail vaporware move)?  Lack of pictures and/or videos?  DEVELOPMENT FOR 7+ YEARS?!
