I cant stand consoles because I dont feel like im in control with a controller.. I cant stand playing a game without a keyboard and mouse and thats why ill never get a console. |

If it feels, looks, or controls like a crappy port it won't sell well. That's true for console to PC ports as well as PC to console ports. Like I said earlier, I know it's possible to make a good MMO with current console systems (well, maybe not the Wii, with its lack of rewritable local mass storage), but they have to be designed from the ground up to support being played with a controller and voice chat. |

I can write engrish, but I can't speak english, and my level of understand of english voice is almost zero. ---- Other than that, a "general channel" could be killed, and replaced by a /say (location channel), with the ability to filter out this channel, and show a "....." over the head of people speaking on that channel, so you know visually that the guys is saying something, but not what he say.

If the UI is designed for a controller then it works well with a controller. I don't really like playing FFXI. However, I bought the game tried playing it with a mouse and keyboard. Within about two days I went and bought a PS2 Controller and a converter to play the game. IMO Keyboard and Mouse is only better in First Person Shooters. And thats only because the sticks still don't have the resolution that a mouse has.
