After wasting around 17m trying to make a certain stupid weapon +6, i gave up and quit cause of no cash

I gave it a try, really. The graphics are rather nice, esp for a free mmorpg. But the lack of avatar customization was a bit of a turnoff. Seeing exact clones of my character everywhere I looked was dull. Ive seen a lot of people complain about the gender specific classes; but as this is an Asian mmorpg so that did not surprise me. The lag was an issue for me. Logging in and then being stuck for upto a minute or more was frustrating. Often in combat I was dead from a lag spike before I realize what had happened.

The map needs a lot of improvement. Perhaps WoW spoiled me, but a map the size of a 50cent piece did not work for me. I had no idea where I was, where I was headed or where npcs were. Npcs especially need work. Perhaps not the giant yellow ! that WoW has but it can be rather hard to figure out who a npc is in a sea of player clones.

I found my character irregardless of class dying a lot, and mobs get deadly very fast as there is little in terms of geographical clues as to when you have entered a zone that is likely doing to kill you. Which in LC can be just over the hill from the starter zone when you meet your 1st red mob.

The heavy farmer spam was also a turnoff.

Ultimately after a few days of exploring, dying and lag freezes I del'd the game and moved on; but for a free game; well you get what you paid for it. Certainly I have experienced worse games. But LC just wasnt what I was looking for.

You didn't use the apprentice system from the way you are talking about the game.You would have had a guardian(someone that is at least level 20 or higher)  to help you with the basics of the game.Some of the maps in the game are one size but if you resize the map in Dratan what you find out is that the map is definately bigger than the one in Randol. I know the avatar customization is limited but when I play I have seen few characters exactly the same as me.Only one in twelve weeks of playing. As for finding NPC if you had a guardian he or she would have helped you out in finding the NPC's.All you had to do is look at the map to find them.All you do is bring up the map and you'll see the little gold figures(NPC).Put your cursor on the figure and it shows who it is.If you are in town you bring up the map click on the town and you'll get a blown up map of the town.Just put your cursor over the gold characters and it tells you which NPC you are looking at.Simple really.

The game can be as simple as you want or as complex as you want. If you just want to fight and level you can play that way. If you want to take your time and learn crafting you can play that way too.It's totally up to the player.At first you will die a lot unless you have a guardian to help.If you go solo you learn by trial and error just like any other MMO. As you go along you will find out which red characters to leave alone and which you can handle it's the process of learning the game. By the way, red characters are higher level than you.So if you decide to try it again your best bet would be with a guardian to learn the game then delete that character and start another character if you want to go solo you'll have an idea of how to play your character after your time spent with the guardian.If you are determined to go solo at least read the forums about the game before you try again there is a lot of helpful info out there if you are willing to read them.Last Chaos Home page has a lot of info that could have helped you out. And the fan sites have a lot of good info too and they have lots of guides made by real players  that could have helped you to enjoy the game more.

Maybe one day you'll give it another try.

Playing the game alredy for 3 moths have 3 chars over lvl 40 (on katar server). To all of the new players i recomend to get a guardian (rely helpful ).

 i've been playing since january and i still play daily, i really enjoy the game. i have a lvl 34 titan/warmaster and 3 other toons i use on sarissa 3/4. only crappy thing was when i started the game i applied for a guardian and they never spoke to me once. i learned everything the long hard way. it's also a long process to lvl a pet to a mount. other than those things, great game!!

if you play on sarissa i'm open to be anyone's guardian. i wished mine had helped me, so i've decided to help those who need it.

lol i play last chaos! i have a lvl 36 healer, and a lvl 32 rouge. but i cant play for a while becouse the other labtop with last chaos on it is messed up >.<. i'm just on my dadss labtop right now -_-. but, i have a feeling that the labtop will be fixed soon. and i can say, last chaos is very awsome, and very addictive. XD
