Can someone help me out here?  I am trying to make a new account on their site but the damn website won't accept any "Username:" I put in there.  WTF?  I've been doing it for like 15 minutes trying to get past the damn sign up page...

Unfortunately we have over 15 Million players so finding a name is a bit difficult sometime.

Try using numbers in your name, too.

I did try using numbers as well....  but when I hit submit the website comes back saying... Please do not use special characters in your Username..... 

Ok, I just made an account without any issue.  Where are you playing from?

Not everybody can get the username they want all of the time..

Just change it up until it works, its your account name it not as big of a deal as your ingame character name.

Either that's not the problem or the error messages really suck on the registration. Here's how this is going:

1. I put in a regular username, I get: must contain a number.

2. I add a number, I get: uppercase letters or special characters not allowed (and no, there are NOT uppercase letters in it)

3. I try random numbers and letters, keeping all lowercase and at least one number. It never goes through, and all I ever get for errors is "uppercase letters or special characters not allowed"

For instance, I tried this exact username, and I received the above error: ubqwo52626.

I've even tried this on another computer, and at work instead of at home. This thing ain't workin.

Having the exact same problem and haven't been able to figure it out yet either. It doesn't make much sense seeing as MailOrderYak used "ubqwo52626" as a username and it didn't work. I can't honestly believe that somebody actually has that username. I thought registration problems were a thing of the past...

After trying forever it finally worked. Instead of getting to use "SynthR" I'm now the proud owner of the username "Kielbasa83". I'd like to beat Gamer's First with my polish sausage alright.

I'm having the same problem. This is by far the crappiest registration ever! Seriously! I've tried more than 20 different usernames, many of them made so that only I could come up with em, and it still doesn't fucking work. Unless all the names I came up with are somehow a profanity in some language. I've been at it for 30 fucking minutes now!

It's pretty emblematic of how the whole game is run, though (half-assed). So I guess that's something.  Still better than most other free MMORPGs, though.
