So how much do you think a person has to buy before they are counted? Yes I do think they inflate their numbers. In every country. But especially in Asia where any amount of time purchased can be counted. The ignorance is just not knowing their Asian sub model. Lineage actually had 6 million monthly subs. WoW might have beeten that but not by nearly as much as they claim.

Felix,  NCSoft publishes their subscription numbers in the quarterly reports and last I saw, Lineage is no where near 6 million monthly subscribers, nor is Lineage II and still not close even if you combine them.  Where do you get this 6 million subscriber figure from?

On the other hand blizzard claims about 4.5 million North America/European monthly subscribers and 5.5 million for the rest of the world (I have no idea how many other regions it is sold in).  If someone pays for time, even just a little bit, that still makes that account an active subscription.  Unless you are suggesting there is a minimum amount of time someone must play a month they count just as much as the next person who pays money to play the game, just like anywhere else in the world?

Korean game usually = god-awful grind.

Also I couldn't find any game play videos, just a bunch of trailers which are completely useless in telling one if a game is worth looking at or not.

This games graphics looks exactly the same as WOW so graphics wise WOW is not doomed but the graphics system looks real good. To be honest i still think that WOW is still in lead and with the Lich King coming soon i think this game has got some catching up to do.

(excuse my spelling)

This game looks like it is a WoW type game, down to the graphics.   They have like 7 classes, and 3 or 4 races.   Looks interesting enough.   I think it is in closed beta 2 right now.   Don't see anything mentioned about an english version unfortuantely.

I don't get why people go on and on about how such-and-such game is going to be the WoW killer - or the <insert current-generation super-successful MMORPG here>, or whatever.

EverQuest is still somewhat alive - perhaps not nearly what it was BEFORE, but it's still alive. It's still running. It's still profitable enough to keep it going.

World of Warcraft topped it, but it didn't kill it - and whatever tops World of Warcraft probably won't kill it, either. I expect both World of Warcraft and the original EverQuest will still be floating around making money long after World of Warcraft 2 gets thrown out there by Blizzard.

Now, mind you... I WANT something that just totally blows WoW out of the water. It is the McDonalds of MMORPGs - I like it, but I know we could have better. But even if the best MMO ever is created in the next four years, WoW will almost certainly still be chuggin' along with a decent playerbase.

why did u even mention WoW.

the only reason i hate wow so badly is cus of char custom. they should make the characters look more nicer not all look like beasts.

well back to the topic. the game looks good. char looks nice. looks like u can move and attack at the same time. im not sure about the last sentence. if u can, then the griding wont be bad. also u cant compare it to other games yet since we dont know anything about it.

the only thing we know about this game, is its fighting style, we havent even seen the skills.

It's a Korean Grinder? I'll pass thank you, I had enough of that from FFXI and that was japanese, not Korean, and if it has an item shop like most korean MMO's then I know I definetely won't be playing. Looks pretty, but I could never support a game that thinks item shops and grinds, instead of FUN are ok.

I have been playing wow since 2004 (on and off ) it gets boring fast,so i usually play after patches and expansions ,but what Im here to say is that most wow players (at least from my experience) never played another mmorpg before , i would guess like 70% of them, the game is good but with all the hype and money they are making which they in turn invest in advertising makes it hard for a game to beat it
