Athene, the World of Warcraft player who recently broke a bunch of WoW records for powerleveling has announced with humility and grace that he has again broken WoW's leveling records after his previous records were broken by a German Druid named Tosog.

World famous World of Warcraft player 'Athene' who recently broke all 3 world records in World of Warcraft speed-powerlevelling is reporting in his latest video that he broke these records yet again.

Right after Athene broke the records the first time, another player called 'Tosog' mobilized his entire guild and broke Athene's records using 'rested' time with the help of 100 people.

Athene therefore felt he owed it to his fans to break this new record again on his own with Mineva and his boyfriend Furious without using any rested time. And so he did.

thats sick...takes some of us so long to get to those higher levels, and to hear people do it over night is just crazy...i personally level moderatly fast but sheesh!

Yeah but does anyone really care? I mean on my server they are starting to call GC "WGC" (Warhammer General chat)  Most folks are just waiting until their pre order beta comes in and they are gone.

Quite frankly I'm just disturbed to witness confirmation that there are people like this in the world.

It's a game. Even if you want to compete on this level (and sure, why not) have some humility.

Can someone point these fans out to me?I am guessing it is family members,if not they are even more sad than the guy himself.

After visiting that dude's website, I wonder about so called "pro gamers." That dude seemed like a lonely asshole who was completely butthurt over someone beating his record.

I didn't see anything substantiating his claims. All I saw was some guy with an accent talking trash about someone else.

HAHAHA..what a loser...watch the video, how pathetic can one perso possibly be? 

He spends 10 minutes talking about how much he doesn't give a "sheet" and then proceeds to waste a day of his life beating him.

I love how he thinks that the "yougotowned" website was made for him, that friggen website has been around for years.

He has an in-game screenshot of the total time that he has played that character.  As an added bonus it includes his tells harassing a GM that could surely be helping someone with a real problem rather than dealing with his nonsense :p lol

The only real problem with his proof is that he is standing in ironforge so he is gathering rest state and you can't see his character's level, LOL.

Stuff like this makes you really appreciate games like Lineage II where you can actually get a feeling of serious accomplishment when you get a character to max level.   1 day 2 hours? geez
