I just subscribed to EVE with my old trial account. It's the only MMO that's still an MMO these days and I'm enjoying it. _________________________________ |

Originally posted by GreenChaos Yeah I went through the same thing, although when I left WoW I kept playing other games till I found one that I liked enough to play for a while. Vanguard is a good game I played through beta and about 4 months into the launch till I got banned for a week then I went to LOTRO for about 6 months or so... Then.... I returned to wow JUST TO TRY OUT BC. Now after being back in WoW for the last 6 months I am really bored of AGAIN (I haven't logged in, in 3 days) But AoC will be out soon and I have high hopes for it. Love it or hate it ya can't deny for its time Blizzard built a solid game, and did a great job capturing the minds of a lot of people including myself. But with that said the reality of it is the game is 4 years old and in the fast paced world most of us live in, if your not dropping an expansion every 6 months your doomed. Out with the old in with the new, bring on the next gen MMORPGs!! Don't confuse a players ability, with a class being Over Powered. -T |

I was adicted to my first mmorpg i have played for a year. That mmorpg is full of bots, that is the reason i have quit. Now seems like no mmopg attracts me...i don`t know the explication. |

Lotta folks would do well to realize there's some accountability on their parts when it comes to their ability to like a game. |

Silkroad, right? Its ok, you can say it. We all know Silkroad is so full of bots at this point that only gold ticket buyers can log in. I feel ya man, I feel ya. |

I am having fun with TR, before that I tried a number of MMOs from EQ, EQ2 to WoW (again) to V:SoH. I settled on TR not because I was tired of MMOs or the others weren't good I was just tired of fantasy MMOs. |

Since to log in you now need to pay the 15 a month for a gold ticket or be eternally *&$%blocked by the endless bots.
I suppose I should answer the OP though...
No, I'm having fun with absolutely zero MMO's now. I've played too many, and now I cannot stand them. I need something different, and it may be a long time before it comes. |

I'm having some kicks in Mabinogi, kinda amusing that the AI responds to you(even if it is just rock paper sicissors type mechanics) and that after the starter areas the rest of the game is pretty much make a mistake and you die. Can't imagine myself sticking around for years like I've done elsewhere, but it's not bad all things considered.
Oh and I made a missile command game(in 100% working state, just not balanced or pretty), I might shove the applet on my website eventually. The internet is an MMO right? |

I am fighting the urges to go back to CoX. I know I would turn angry quite fast and it wouldn't be pleasant to anyone...I overplay the game and all the changes they made...bad bad. :P
But maybe I could enjoy the game anew with the Epic, they haven't been changed ever...and I could always play a MM, MMs are fine and cool...nothing to say against MMs specifically (buffing maybe, but could avoid all the constant rebuffs setting)...it is just that MMs are kinda unwanted in groups and I hardly see a reason to developp them, it hardly change much, they are so weaks, everything is their pets...and these can't be changed much with IOs. - "If I understand you well, you are telling me until next time. It's natural to go through periods of burn-out; every MMO player I've ever met has gone through it a few times in their gaming life, myself included. It's like you're playing a game and you really want to do well, you want to maximise your character and make him/her awesome, and you're having a blast doing it.
Then the next day you just suddenly lose the drive. You log in as usual and it just doesn't feel right. You can't put your finger on exactly why it doesn't feel right; it just doesn't. The fun factor just isn't there anymore.
That's pretty much what happened to me with WoW.. I was at the top of my game in the most progressive end-game guild on our server, envied by a great deal of less accomplished raiders and on track to complete my T6 set.. then one day I just couldn't be bothered with it anymore. |

I'm not playing anything atm. Just patiently waiting for Aion to be released while I research/keep up to date with pc hardware, and working out to waste some time. I played FFXI for about 4 years and enjoyed most of the time playing, but I got bored of the game a few times and took small breaks in between. Played a few other MMOs and could never really get into them. I can say that I'm quite bored about playing nothing. >< |
