WAR (Warhammer Online)

So, the main website for WAR has got to be the worst game website I've seen in a long time. No list of features, no official forums, and just a slew of "grab bag" answers to wade through. Hope the website isn't an indication of how the game will play out. But I digress.

Is there a list of features for this game somewhere? Big issues for me would be:

1. Combat (How is it unique)

2. Crafting

3. Housing

4. More in depth explanation of RVR

5. End game that isn't sacking the enemy city (If that exists)

6. Generally speaking, what are the things that make WAR unique and worth playing? What can't I get in another MMO that I can get here?

Oh man you woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning? I get a huge impression ur not very happy.

A short answer from me on what this game is about is PvP (A struggle to cap the opposite team's capital city (temporarily untill automatic reset))

 Gameplay is probably very much easy to get into and probably not like many other games which demands you to play it ALOT to gain something.

Umm, I'm not unhappy. Just displeased with the official WAR website. If I was really unhappy, believe me, you would have gotten a lot more than three sentences.

Sorry dude, but I'm not interested in watching videos to guess what the game has to offer. Every other game on the face of the Earth has a features list, why not this one? Finding information on this game has been like trying to get light out of a black hole.

There are plenty of games that are all about PVP. What makes THIS PVP game so special? And please don't say the Warhammer universe. I tend to see right through a game's skin.

If I wanted to play a PVP game where game time didn't equal achievement, I would play a free FPS like CS: Source where there was some skill involved that didn't revolve around a competition to see who could best exploit the game mechanics, such as World of Warcraft.

Surely there has to be more of a goal than sacking an enemy faction's city. AoC's Battle Keep sieges sound more interesting to me than sacking the same city over and over again.

If your looking for a PVE game look elsewhere if your looking for a PVP game then WAR may be what your looking for.RvR stands for Realm vs Realm or Race vs Race its pretty much a war between 2 races Dwarves/Greenskins Empire/Chaos High Elfs/Dark Elfs when they say WAR they literally mean it think of it as a constant WAR between those factions and u can get a basic idea of what u get. It will be a very Guild oriented game and as far as housing i dont believe that is in the works but for someone like me that doesnt matter. But i believe there will be guild halls or something of the sort.Guilds will be a huge part for instance capturing a keep ur guild will then have it banner hung from the keeps wall.There are alot of features but other than basic info you wont get much because of NDA.Best source is actually the website if u watch all the vids they have diffrent vids for diffrent aspects of the game.

You can try to watch some of Paul's videos, but I guess that would be pretty time consuming. I swear I've never seen anyone talk so much without actually saying anything. Other than that you can try some of the fansites listed on official website or just search through MMORPG threads. A list like the one you are looking for doesn't seem to exist yet, so you'll have to look around :P

Though there's no clear-cut "here you go, enjoy" list like you're looking for, I've been able to find out the answers to question 6 at least just by browsing through the WAR site, looking at the vids, and visiting this site and some fansites.

If you're serious about playing this game, then there is plenty of information if you seriously look for it. If not, well then, PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GAME and leave the spoon feeding to your mom (none of us want her job). From the tone of your post, you'd be little more than fodder for the war.
