The folks from EA Mythic will be releasing information on the game's Collector's Edition on Wednesday, March 26th and MMORPG.com will have the full scoop. Keep an eye out for the feature!

Recently, a mysterious countdown appeared on the european WAR website, and speculation abounded as to its purpose. EA Mythic head Mark Jacobs addressed the rumors by saying without saying that it would be CE info and not an open beta announcement at warhammer alliance.

This is what i thought and i m glad to see some info on this. CE i ll be getting most likely if it s close to the rumors out there :)

Same after the official announcement and if its close to the rumors Ill probably get it as well.

By the way... How was the visit to EA Mythic last week Stradden(It was last week right?)? You found out anything new to cool down the WAR crowds hunger for fresh meat? news?

The second Day Vet

Indeed. It was a great trip. I'll be p[osting articles later int he week (embargoed and all that fun stuff).  That said, I learned a lot.

All i got from that was ::: WARHAMMER ALLIANCE FORUMS GET REPLIES FROM MYTHIC EMPLOYEES::::

There are more forums than WHA that gets responses from Mythic.

Here is the current rumor of what is in the CE

* Open Beta Access
* Earlier Access to Retail Servers
* Two Bonus Items
* An exclusive GamesWorkshop Miniature
* 12 bonus quests that lead to special titles and rewards
* A comic book and an artwork book

Oh my god ROFLMAO!   A whole countdown timer on the frontpage ...and then its just about CE information being given. whahaaha.

Sorry tho. What a fuzz just about some contents in a bigger box lol.

Maybe next time they are going to do a whole countdown about when they actually going to show us some real and decent ingame footage? ;)

WHA is great, they get info instantly, they are moderated well, and get replies from Mythic staff almost every day.

+1 buying CE.

Hmm finally that will cool down some of the threads and the poor dead horse being always and forever beaten...

OMG ROFLMAO! The countdown timer was only up, and continue to be up, for four total days. Nothing to make a huge deal about and had you payed attention to WAR at all you would have known this date coincided with the Paris event where Mark Jacobs basically said they would be telling us the official information on the CE and Pre-Order bonuses. It wasn't that huge of a deal hence the reason it wasn't on the US site as well.
