what people need to do is realize whats going on behind the pixels...

the makers of fury arent doing so well financially, they do not have the massive staff as ur blizzards or ur sony entertainment... they do not have the taskforce to tackle the bugs as quickly as the bigger named companies do...

they are a small time competitor in a very tough game of business... look to ur side bar and see all the different mmorpgs out there...
the big named games are not letting games like this take flight and get off the ground...

fury is a unique game... i bought immortal already and bought hopes that this game will become that next great game... where else can u redo ur class to waht u want it to be... where else can u pvp in various differnt scenarios...

what i love way more about this game than wow (yes i hate wow with a passion... played for 2 1/2 years too long) is that gear isnt a huge factor in how well u can do in pvp...  its a matter of having the right skills to match/beat ur opponent... its a much greater thing then going up against a 5/5 vengeful glads warr with a ridiculous amount of health, armor, damage, and resiliance... effectively... they just wont die...
some may say well u just suck oh blah blah blah... no certain classes beat other classes... shadow priest > warrior... warrior > everyone else... warlock > who cares...
i (as a rogue) got the very short end of that stick, for i didnt pvp the massive amounts of time to get the gear to keep up... i fell behind... i fall behind... i cant kill... i cant kill... i lose... gg game over

fury is much more of a challenge in the sense that if u get ur ass kicked in one game... u can adjust urself to make sure that doesnt happen again... and whats great about that... is u dont have to pay to change ur spec!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!  ..

anyway... the point is that fury offers something new, even though the makers may be hitting a rough patch, they have created something new and extraordinary... it stands out amongst its competitors such as wow, guild wars, mxo, swg, war, or whatever else u wanna compare it to...

i support ya there dude... fury is awesome... people need to stop bashing it, and allow it to compete with these bigger companies... cause auran got it right with this game

If the game was good, there would be players crawling all over it no matter who made it. Hell, Shadowbane has more players than Fury, and that game is how old and a financial flop as well? The games' problem is it has devs who have a.) no business sense (the bankruptcy right after launch proved that ) and b.) have no game making experience (regular or mmo, as the dismal failure of the game all the way into being force to go free-to-play within a month or two of launch shows).

If they knew how to make a game, Fury would be rolling. If they knew how to conduct financial affairs and fund a game, they'd be solvent, not bankrupt.

well dont get me wrong dude... i know the bigger games arent trying to take away from these games

and im well aware of the fact that the makers of fury fucked themselves in senses that they made the game for free to play, and optional pay...
im saying that there are people who are bashing the game still... u gotta figure how understaffed they are after the big budget cut... those few left who are trying to salvage whats left of the game are trying and they need to receive their due... they are working hard to make sure the game still exists...

i knwo i sound contradictory... auran got the gameplay right, the concept right... but where YOU were right, the fact they had no business sense... they cant expect to make it anywhere if they dont charge to play...
as much as i enjoy the game for free... (not anymore cause i bought the immortal) they NEED to charge for the game in order to maintain and build on it...

and i heard a rumor that activision was looking to purchase the game from auran?
i hope they figure thats best for the games sake... cause honestly... this game picked up my attention quicker then i thought it would have...
it is why im still up at 2am trying to log in...

Really? Hmm, well if that happens, then there may be hope for the game. As long as it's a complete buyout and the Auran guys are all kicked (they can keep the programmers that are worthwhile to keep and such, just oust ALL of the management ). And they'd really have to move quick, as a long buyout / transfer of ownership  process would just mean more downtime with absolutely nothing being done.

that is definately true...

like i said before... its my hope that auran will do whats best for the game...

and hopefully those who already own it wont be forced to pay for it again if activision buys it lol..
but like, ive played matrix online during the time when wachowski brothers/warner bros ent. sold it to sony...
and thats when my interest dive bombed... but with a game taht already followed that same dive... it can only get better right?

a company might buy it out? that would be good...thanks for helping me understand why its a 6.6 rating with such a great looking game...

umm..i finished installing, and it wont let me hit play, type into my login or password or hit options...and if its not doing it because of a patch the patch wont start? can you help me lol >_<.

i bought Hero version of this for 30$ at wal-mart earlier and would love to play =)

once i get the game working i will probaly go onto a monthly subscription just because after seeing the situation the game is in i REALLY dont want it cancled or something... i want this game to continue and become the best FPS based game, like it should be.

where im (pretty) sure the patching would normally go on a launcher it says
