The only problem I had with the game was the auto heal, and the auto everything, without it the game might be worth playing. |

Without the auto stuff, it would be impossible to play. You have 3 characters, after all, and the spawn rate in some places is faster than you can kill them (without AOE attacks). Trying to control everything and deal with all the attackers would be impossible. |

well it would be possible... but difficult add to the fact that it takes somewhere around 1000 hours to get to 100, and your looking at 1000 hours of pain. |

I found my voice, show me how to use it." ~From Cowboys and Angels by David Gleeson |
We did do away with auto heal in one of our original builds of the game for the US market. However after play testing it for a week or so we realized that was just a bad idea and re-implemented it. Much to some player's chagrin we removed the "Lock Defend-Mode". There were 2 major reasons for this. 1. imcGAMES never fully implemented it and it was grossly buggy. 2. imcGAMES refused to update our game with it... "refused" may be a strong word, but the reality of it was they were giving us incredibly long development cycles that other areas were not getting. I can handle getting releases a month or so after sGE, but getting them MONTHS or YEARS later is just not acceptable. All in all, we know we lost a lot of good and dedicated players, but if we were put in a situation where we would not be able to get additional update and we knew we had to make a drastic decision. Overall, I personally like the game better the way it is. Players are more active, there is more communication, it feels more alive than it did before. Also our active users have grown far past those players we lost from this issue since we were able to launch our expansion so, I can't really say I am upset with it. Maybe sometime in the future those of you who left can come back and give it another chance. |

Probably a bit late for that Neume. Folks like myself spent the better part of August - November trying to work with you guys and get the game fixed. You all took entirely too long to implement the desperately needed changes, and most of the main issues people like myself left over are still there. As a person I got nothing against you, your just doing your job. However, your bosses have screwed the pooch royally on this one. Just look at your numbers... most of the high end folks like myself and people I played with took off. There is no denying that. You do have a influx of new players, but I doubt its keeping up with the hemorrhaging. |

Originally posted by Pyrostasis That's funny, the numbers show the opposite of what you are saying. Most of our high level players came back in January for the expansion and the majority of them are still playing. We are hitting record connections on Saturday nights (our busiest day) for Faction Wars and our revenue is hitting record levels on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. So all in all, you have a very skewed and mostly inaccurate perception of what is really going on. We are constantly updating the game (infact we have a new map and tons of new armor, monsters, skills, UPCs and more coming out on Wednesday), 100% of the people who you had issues with at launch are no longer with the company. I am now running the show and there have been myriad changes and much more to come. |

Well I wouldnt expect you to agree with me neume. That would be like Microsoft admitting that Vista was a screw up. I dont doubt that most of us came back in Jan, I did as well... for about 15 minutes. Cash shop prices were still whacked and the bots were and still are rampant. I just pulled up my xfire and the 22 people on it that played sotnw with me are no longer playing. A good portion of most of their guilds are no longer playing. We are talking Zaibach, Abyss, Deity, etc. Im sure there are some of the old vets like Brightro still around, but out of the 100 - 200 members on my website the majority arent, and having played on Vesp, that was a good portion of your population. Im glad your making money Neume, but you cant deny your company really mishandled your launch, and post launch time. Your company refused to tell us about patch notes in advance, you didnt tell us about the P2P change, you didnt give us info about the UPC unerf, you were unable to control bots, your cash shop was 2x the cost of Singapores, your community manager issues were awful (are you on your 3rd or 4th?), and Im not touching translation issues, game bugs, or the fact that several staff members including yourself have been caught not telling the whole truth or boldface lying. I hope you do well Neume talking to you on the forums the few times we did before things went straight to hell, you seemed intelligent and more or less legitimate in your wish to help the player base. However, your bosses/corporate suits did you and your players a major disservice and several pr mistakes that will keep you from rising about the small niche market you are eeking out. |

Well, Pyro, I understand you are still upset we removed you from our forums, but it still seems you are either unable or unwilling to see the full picture. Calling me a liar is a slanderous statement. You cannot prove a point where I intentionally misled the community. Again more than anything that is why you are not allowed on our forums. You have made many statements that are 100% false. Patch notes are and have always been posted as soon as a patch is released or as soon as we have them 100% confirmed and translated (which is now happening much faster than in the past since we have multiple team members who speak Korean and English now). On multiple occasions we have agreed with the lack of communication on the P2P change and in fact we no longer have the individuals who made that decision working for us. When the UPC un-nerf was announced we said openly we didn't have a timeline on it and the moment imcGAMES informed us it would be part of the expansion we released that information. I am not sure how much more information we could give. We have never had a reason to fire a Community Manager and have not had any issues with them. People find new opportunities on a daily basis all around the world. I am not sure how that is some issue. We have spent thousands of hours updating text and still do. We also don't have many game bugs that last. We usually knock those out as quickly as they are found. At this point, I won't be responding to you because it is difficult to make any case when I am being unfairly and unjustly called a liar. |
