I just bought Factions via the in game store and I noticed there were no voice overs for the intro cutscene. I know there are supposed to be voice overs for it because there are voice overs for all the cutscenes in Nightfall and there was a voice over for the Orginal GW game. I thought it was odd that I did not have to do a big download after I bought it, now I see why.

Is there any way I can download the VO files or did I just waste $30 by buying it in game instead of in store?

Thanks

There are no voice overs in the cutscene for the intro as far as i know. If there are no subtitles i think there is no voice over.

I guess you mean the Guild Wars Factions Cinematic that you also can download from here

I am talking about the cutscene you get after you make a new character. It does a small flyaround of the tutorial area and there are subtitles. Both nightfall and orginal GW that I bought in the store have v/o for these cutscenes. I find it really strange that factions would be the odd ball.

Thanks for confirming that. It just seemed weard that the first and the third game had voice overs but not the second game.

I thought the voice overs were pretty funny for factions.  I mean its an asian setting and the voice overs on some of the characters during cut scenes sound like badly dubbed mandarin to english.

I picked Kurzick side just because I then had the option to escape from Master Togo's stupid voice.
