Dark and Light

Dark & Light, despite all it's flaws and lack of support is really a pearl out there.. You have to try it to see the beauty.

.. Now, I have been waiting for a long time for Np3 to turn the game around and implement some of the things like playerowned house/cities and other things. To get the game back on track. But, as it is not happening I get quite sad. Maybe it will happen in a while. Avefenix said they would be updating with a gigantic patch this summer. I hope so. .. Well, anyhow. I am going to download Dark and Light again and just use it to listen to the music in it and fly around a bit.

After all I have nostalgia about this beautiful game. ... I can just say that I have never met a level of immersion such as the one  you can find in Dark & Light. Just being in the world moves my soul and I miss that.. .. One time I was sitting near a rebel bunker in Star Wars Galaxies and saw the Agrilat Crystal Swamp and looked around me and it was so beautiful. I felt all sorts of ideas come into my head and I enjoyed just sitting there. .. These virtual worlds are so amazing and they really do have so much potential. .. In itself that potential can be beautiful. And I will play Dark and Light for short periods of time  just enjoying it instead of demanding that Np3 turns the game around right now or whatever else.. The game world in Dark & Light is unlike any other and it works well. I think it works well for me. I enjoy it and the music is the best ... It makes me happy to listen to it.

So see you in Dark and Light!! Again! :)

Maybe we will meet on the top of a big mountain and we can look at each other without speaking and just walk around for a bit. :)

Nah, not banned, just wash your mouth out with soap when you are done giggling......

Well. This time I am not out to salvage it. ... Well, I couldn't get it to work when trying to install it. I think something went wrong when I downloaded it. Most of the big files I download tend to corrupt. it has something to do with the internet here at my apartment. But! When I finally get it to work, which will probably be sometime in August or September when I get back. I have a lot of things to do now and I wont be home to use my computer for a long time. - When I finally get back I am definitely going to enjoy Dark and Light again.

Apparantly Snailgames are launching the game in China and we get the update as well! So it'll be great to experience that. I can't wait. However, at this point I would just like to fly around a bit and enjoy the landscapes and maybe join some of the roleplaying events. This game is great for doing that. .. But, mainly just surf around. :) Also I am anticipating Fallen Earth and Darkfall. Two great games somewhat close to launching. can't wait to join the bumpy ride of a great new mmorpg. Dark and Light will always have a special place in my heart. It was really great... All the anticipation. The worlds largest mmo. When it came out.. The exploring of something so vast. God, that was just a thrill.. Sooo amazing. I will never ever forget it. When I spend hours just travelling north leaving a path of discovered land behind me. THen I came to the Ice Bay and I waited for my friend there. Then we flew over it. Aaawwhh DARK AND LIGHT!!!
