There has been some legal debates going on at Star Trek Games (www.startrek-games.com) about releasing a 60 page game design document of the older version of Star Trek Online. Just as the first portion of the document was to be posted, a legal rep notified the admin of the site, of the following (in brief): I made my Investigation Skill Roll. |

| And that is why... Conservatives' pessimism is conducive to their happiness in three ways. First, they are rarely surprised -- they are right more often than not about the course of events. Second, when they are wrong they are happy to be so. Third, because pessimistic conservatives put not their faith in princes -- government -- they accept that happiness is a function of fending for oneself. They believe that happiness is an activity -- it is inseparable from the pursuit of happiness. |

Originally posted by Dracus Its good to see Cryptic going for something new then just Super hero games, I think they will do a great job with this game.
I hope they bring back Ship Interiors and the Holo-Deck and make the game a true skill based masterpiece like what was orginally stated.

Nice detective work there! Indeed interesting. I'm not sure if I'm happy Cryptic has taken over the project or not. I'll wait and see when they finally release info on the game before I cheer or vomit. Again, nice work! |

"We''re not making a game for Trekkies" Daron Stinnett, Perpetual Entertainment |
I was hoping for Blizzard. Cryptic has a good track recored, so I guess we can't complain. At least the Star Trek franchise isn't in the hands of the PWhatever any longer. I will this, if Cryptic has Daron working on this project, I'm protesting Cryptic Studios.

If this is true...
I might become a trekkie.
Now, I will have to learn how to do the Vulcan peace greetings, wouldn't I? :P |

This is a good sign, thanks for the great detective work Dracus! On a side note, Cryptic is also pretty good at having their own website and forum for the games they develope so they won't have to post on an "official STO fan forum." nuff said. |
