Originally posted by vingvega Agreed. There hasn't been an original, creative, hell, just slightly DIFFERENT MMORPG to come out of Korea since...well, since....NEVER! They're all exact copies of one another, with different titles on the boxes. |

The way things are going with AOC it's going to end up like WoW except you can push a few more buttons. |

NCsoft makes AION. NCsoft has a history of craptacular maintenance and of underachieving. I am also amazingly biased against NCsoft and boycott their games. So no AION for me. Cryomatrix P.S. I'm well aware of how useless my post is, but hey, what are forums for. |

Both games are realistic on graphic, AoC is more realistic on the animation and the physics, Aion on the other hand is not but Aion has very cool skill animation. I like cool skill animation, Aion has very identical animation as to Cabal Online. So I vote for Aion. For me I just don't like the cape in AoC, looks like Rappelz and GW. I love the sky fight in Aion. ^_^ |

To the OP: Without reading much of what was said, the release dates will be separated by months. AoC will be released first and Aion will follow at some point (hopefully) later this year. If you don't mind waiting without an MMO and you don't like the AoC concept, then you can wait a couple months for Aion to launch. If not, you can always trial AoC for at least the box-offered-month and decide for yourself whether you like it or not. |

Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can? - Sun Tsu |
At the current moment. I am forced to say that AION is ahead of anyone else. In it’s early alpha stage, Aion already played like a ready for release title. Now the game can go to hell from there or it can become even better. From what I can see, it’s not trying to re-invent the wheel, it’s simply making it better. The gameplay appears to be similar to WOW and that kinda sucks but I didn’t hated how WOW played. I simply didn’t like the simplicity of the entire game. AOC l | |
