Read for lulz. Basically the EQ2 Community Manger has cut official ties with EQ2Flames. They're not taking it well.

wouldnt have anything to do with one of the number one raid guilds getting walk throughs of brand new raid content before its released so that they can just walk through it... naaah that cant be it.

Cant be because this same guild has several devs in it...naaa

Read the thread and find out why they are pissed. Granted they are a bit over the top, but the reasons for them being upset are legit.

I think you misunderstood me.  I'm on their side.  I'm not laughing at them, I'm laughing at SOE.

Whats stupid though is that EverCrack is so addictive you can`t stop playing it (not even talking about quiting MMO, only about leaving eq2). Somehow they made product that gets you buttfucked and after that you ask for more.

I don't know how they do it.

I played EQ2 until about a month and a half ago...  It used to be a great game, now it is just a bad copy of WoW (all solo, grouping and raids suck...)

SOE had done great things with this game and EoF was a great expansion with alot of fun REGARDLESS of playstyle, then came RoK...  And at that point, my time was numbered...

Just another brilliant example of PR know-how and community management on the part of $OE. /NOT

EQ2Flames is the major forum for EQ2, so dismissing the forum in such a manner is also 'dismissing' the great many EQ2 players that utilize the forum. There are players that have had enough of $OE's poor customer servcie, pathetic game management, etc., so this was just the push they needed to hit the cancel button. We all know that even a mass exodus won't make $OE change its ways, but at least $OE will be continue with  its unethical disregard for its consumers and total mismanagement with a lot less $$$$.

SOE PR people couldn't find sunlight outdoors, at noon, on a sunny day.

I started reading through that thread...  WOW... They are in huge trouble with EQ2.

And I think the owner of that site is too mad to make any sort of reconciliation short of their community manager being fired.
