No auto healing....No auto attack...No costumes off start...

...I hate to say it but patch killed this game in many ways for me.

I played SWOTN a month ago. Got boring.

But for your entire fight w/ Prystatsoi and boomer, or w.e your namers were..

I can easily say Pryo guy can't be to far off about corrupt GM's. I played Knights Online for 2 years. The amount of drama, lack of effort in banning hackers, and corrupt GMs was a turn off for me. K2 took a great game like KO and made it basically if you use cash shop you are the best player in PVP...

I wouldnt say that the patch has destroyed the game but leveling is now more of a pain in the ass than people that dont play this game can possibly understand. It goes far beyond normal grinding. There is simply no where near enough content to keep you interested once you start getting up there in levels.With no auto defend it is just easier and less frustrating to stand in one place and grind than it is to explore a dungeon. Thats a damn shame because the dungeons are pretty cool even though there is very little reason to go through most of them other than exploration.

While the healers are supposed to auto heal while in defend mode I have found this feature to not always be reliable. On more than one occasion I found myself slamming the space repeatedly and they still just stand there doing nothing. It is annoying to say the least. The issue with the elementalist is just as annoying but I can deal with changing the stances. At least they attack when they are supposed to.

I dont really know why they got rid of the auto defend. It makes very little sense to me. It sure isnt going to stop the botters or gold farmers. How hard is it to make your bot program push the space bar or click the defend tab. Not very. The only people this move hurt was the actual players. I dont mind not really being able to afk. Since the updates before the patch I get DC'd so often it isnt even worth afking. I am ok with that. The game is  just not as fun as it once was.

I honestly dont see wehy they made most of these changes. I had the same problem with the healers never always responding to my orders but if completely elimininating the auto heal feature was the solution I just think thats stupid. Same goes for the auto defend, I agree its not going to stop gold farmers or botters just eliminate afk leveling making this game more of a grind.

Ok i did the beta for this game and played it until the last stage. That was like (damn i cant remember.. early 2007???) I was there when they had the disconnect-if-were-to-afk-grind thing. Then they did take it out cuz' it sucked. Then I enjoyed the rest of the game til the beta ended. The said it was gonna be P2P but u could still play but there would be a level cap of like 30 and because my family was 28, I lost interest. The best thing, to my taste, in this game are the BGM and the costumes of the characters... I wish there were a "download the game music" link. I think that will be the only thing related to this game worth downloading

maybe i missed all the horrible things ppl are talking about ( only started playing 2 weeks ago)

made 2 accounts. 1 is level 62 and leveling is getting harder now

and other is level 53.

aside from the botters who are mainly vis farmers i love the game.

seeing the vis farmers is really upsetting as i feel they ruin the integrity of the game.

theres been alot of patching goin on lately. and i feel the game will steadily improve as someone has said they are starting to follow to asian server models in patching process.

this game reminds me of diablo but in a grander mmo sense.

seriously if ur not playing this game 24/7 at the keys and ur only playing a hour or so.. how can u not have fun?

u run into a dungeon and theres tons to kill, u spam ur super cool powers kill beechez and hoz and run a rampage in to the mobs, hell its beautiful.

and then u go back to ur afk leveling while u watch tv, web browse, or sleep i mean .... whats there to hate?

corrupt gms? well no sshiiizzle. thats life . ppl are corrupt. the dirtiest thing on the planet is the human heart. and ofcourse the scariest thing on the planet is a human being.

I totally agreed with you before the recent changes.... The game was loads of fun and the best f2p at least I have ever tried. Maybe people are being a little harsh on the latest patch to say the game is over and is totally ruined. I still find it fun but just alot less enjoyable I still play it from time to time though...

LIES!  I have seen a number of players banned for botting on Vesp.  I don't play on other worlds so maybe it's different there.

Who Melisande? What the heck are you talking about?  Do you even know?  She got a job with another company.  Sylvanie also moved onto a position with another company.  What proof do you have that either were fired?

Agree, but so did Singapore when they launched 2.4 imho.

K2 let the game ride for over six months with out a single bug fix.

Read the forums they already said why this happened and it was tied to the changes they added (Lock defend mode and character creation).  K2 has been VERY open about issues they have as they arise since the F2P fiasco.

K2 had a cash shop that as of november first was 2x the cost of the singapore version.

Maybe you should look at it now.  Once again, what you are not saying is not correct information.

Neume said that ALL versions would get nerfed UPCS.  A Month later we find out only SOTNW would get them. We were told they would fix it "soon" in august. The fix finally came through in JANUARY.

See above about changes happening slowly.  K2 Network has already responded to why things happened.

K2 does NOT ban botters on the first offense. First offense is 24 hour ban, then 72 hour ban, then perma ban. This means you can bot to damn near 100 and not get nailed.

True, but the reason they were doing this is they couldn't prove legally a player was botting, they can now in 2.4. (P.S. sGE does the same thing).

All of the above are FACTS that I have shown and proven. All of the above are major reasons why NOT to play the game. If you wish to say Im "Butthurt" go right ahead. The facts speak for themselves.

Your "facts" are anything but.  Again, you sound like a player who was banned and is still upset.  And every point you have made just furthers this appearance.

And, my game account is still usable... not sure where you got the whole Im banned thing.

I was banned from the forums by melisande back in September for saying she wasnt posting about the issues because the heat was to hot and she was hiding and only responding in welcome posts. She told me to edit my post. I told her that It was true, she had been avoiding the issues, and pointed out the three posts she had made that week were all in the welcome area. She told me it didnt matter, she wanted me to apologize and edit my post. I told her she was a mod she could edit it herself if she so chose.

She then banned me from the forums. I created a new account and was told I could post, but my old account would no longer be usable. I assume this was due the the rather angry pm's I got from Meli and had planned on posting on my site. Now that Im banned on that account those pms are locked and I can access them to screen shot. Why else would they ban my forum account but let me rejoin?

2 weeks after my ban, and bringing the pm's up to higher ups in K2 she was "Gone". According to Neume she had left the company and legally he was not allowed to say why. Only time your not allowed to say why... is due to a firing. Otherwise you can say she took another job else where and we wish her luck.

Im glad you have seen folks banned on vespanola... but there are quite a few botters that are well known that k2 leaves alone.

You wanted proof about one botter? Well take a look at this thread.
