ok i just started my $1,600 pc build just for this game witch includes a 8800GTX,Q6600, and 4gigs of ram and i was wondering if i can play this game on max setting with at least 60FPS. dont know if beta is out yet and if you can answer this question yet but if you do know plz tell me becuase i realy realy like how this game looks.

my secound question is i heard that the first 20 lvl are solo play.
when they say they do they mean you should play solo? or are you forced to play solo? like even tho you are 1 to 20 do you at least see ppl running around with you like in other mmos like EQ and such?

also i was wondering are the quest all bassed on like dungeon runs or are they like well lol EQ were you have to run all over the place.

and how is the lvling system on the game is it group oreinted like eq and ff11 or is it pretty much like WoW were you can basicly be left alone and get to the end just as fast?

btw i compared a lot of my questions to EQ for a reason lol im a huge fan on the eq,eq2,eqoa game play for some reason i just loved how the game play was in those game... main reason i could nvr get into WoW lol.

btw plz tell me befor hand if this game is ne thing like GW were every one was in a city and only YOUR group left to go in the open world.... i hate that soooo much.

-thanks

As most games aren't fully SMP aware why not buy an E8400 instead of the Q6600. The processor is not only faster, but more efficient per clockcycle as well as more energy efficient. The only possible reason/performance you may see benefit from the Q6600 might be with something other than gaming like say 3D rendering or video compression.

you wont really benefit from buying a quad core over a dual core, most programs and games only support so much threading, and it is still not an industry norm, and wont be for a while. By the time software utilizes quad core threading properly, the q6600 will be obsolete

I've been using an E8400 now since the day after they launched and have had no problems at all on an intel DP35DP motherboard. Their problems may be related to their choice in motherboard so I cannot speak for them. I have encoded videos, played nearly every recent game out and have had no such stability problems or real problems to this point.

The real problem we are discussing is the fact that  you are spending money on a quad core when most of the cores will infact not be used. Since processors this day in age are all going to multiple cores your money would be better spent getting a dualcore processor that runs at a faster clockspeed. The E8400 is currently a very high demand item and as such what people will suggest if you are lucky enough to get your hands on one. I am not saying the Q6600 will not play games but  you could probably do better for the money following my earlier stated advice.

One thing I found best with posting on any message board is its best to only post your main questions. You set yourself up for two topics and most replies will center around just one, I used to do that too.

Your questions are more around game mechanics, and can't be answered untill there is an open beta or release. Believe me I have a ton of them and a lot of concerns about this game that no one has any answers for yet. I've asked them on both mmorpg and gamespot and got just a few guesses. People anticipating AoC or ANY game are at the mercy of info given by the deavs and the marketing web page.

I know your not looking for suggestions as far as building a computer because your already started, and i'm no way an expert however I must say that I built a computer with an 8800gtx and I had a 500w power supply. Two days after starting it up AND everytime I download new drivers for it I get an error telling me that "power is too low, NVIDA will lower your graphics settings" I found that I had to upgrade to a 800W supply, and I can take advantage of the card. This info is all over the NVIDA message boards.

Still I'm no expert and not sure if your loading XP or Vista ( I have Vista ) but ether way it does no good to have more than 2 gig of ram if your using the 32 bit operating system, and people say that the 64 bit is not good for games but can use 4 gig of ram.
