I'm thinking of getting one and i have already seen demonstration models and actual owned ones from people I've met Where i live. But what i want now are some reliable unbiased facts concerning this system?
Also in the end if there are good UK alternatives that can do what it can do then by all means post some links to such products as I'm always open to better ideas. |

Totally unbiased point of view looking at the iPhone. Also its internet is slow, its not a very good phone, and they charge the bejezus out of you. |

my htc touch is a far superior phone the iphone also has the worst battery life of any PDA type phone i have ever seen. look at the blackberry world edition(i know this works in europe) and the phone with the same gimick as the iphone but is far superior is the HTC touch and its not the same brick the HTV 6700 and 6800 are(good phones just big) |

Well after some more reserch ive had a change of heart im sticking with my current mobile phone as its a pay as you go phone that ive had for over a year and it works just fine as a phone with a very long battery life [thanks for the info BTW on the i-phone].
So the i-phone is off the table now. However i have seen the i-touch and that has the features i really want, Browser , MP3 player , Video player, Photo storage.
So if anyone has any experience with the i-touch id be interested in hearing about it. |

I suddenly thought that perhaps i should explain a bit why I'm thinking of getting a i-touch. 3 days a week i need Dialysis [through a Fistula] and that involves me sitting in a seat keeping my right arm perfectly still for 4 hours a day while my blood is filtered. Now they largely leave you to entertain yourself during that time and i thought it would be good to have something that could entertain me with one hand. That's why the i-touch appeals to me because it not only plays music but it also plays movies [i can download some movies to watch to pass the time], and it has a web browser so i can keep up with these forums for example while be dialyzed. Best thing is because of how its designed i can do it with one hand on the i-Phone.
So now you know why I'm asking around as i want to be sure that i wont be wasting my money on something that may not meet my needs. |
